Hi Sup Forums Sup Forums, what do the 100 volumes of Index contain from Miki's interview ? I am very confused about this piece of information.

Yeah, I saw it. I still confused about that part. It wasn't clear to me.

The 100 volumes are Miki's estimate of how long the series will end up being based on the various little spoilers he's heard from Kamachi over the years. They don't actually exist (yet).

So if we're not counting any of the spin off/crossover novels, it means we have another 60 or so volumes to go. Huh.

Truth is we don't know what's going to happen in the future, but it doesn't hurt to have a wishful thinking, right?

Kamachi started writing in middle school but couldn't finish his stories and only managed to write a full book for the first time near the end of high school. Only got published some time after he graduated. It's on his JP wikipedia page.
He's probably in his early 30s.
