I fucking hate how Aocchi's progress just stopped immediately after new girls came in.

How did it stop? She became not only rival figure, but sister and even mentor figure to Momiji.

I loved both.
But the new girls, I hate them with all my damn weeb heart.

They are not unreasonable. Narumi is trying her one shot not to be confined in an Inn in the middle of nowhere and right next to her is some bimbo who can't actually do anything and is on the same page as her because she pleases Umiko.

Momiji is same age as Aoba, has BIGGER TALENTS and already sees Kou working on Aoba's designs, it's like watching Elvis being Bieber's backstage.

I can believe for Narumi tho, but for Momiji? it's childish getting that way towards another artist since art gets better with time and not competency.

There's no such thing as objectivity. Stop implying as such. I thought the 2nd season was great to see the characters develop more. Aoba gaining a more direct rival and confidence. Hufumi becoming more social an now being able to take a leadership position. Nene figuring out what she wanted to do and seeing her greatly improve her programming skills.

I don't think Momiji really did anything though, she's just competitive + socially retarded a bit. I totally get where she's coming from, I felt the same way about a dude who had practice in the field I was studying at the same age. In the end she did push herself to push Aoba to fucking bid Kou farewell for real.
