Im convince this is all a culture/fashion for these people and a fun way to socialize almost like a nu-religion, i was at my uni and saw all these posters plastered fucking everywhere and people are on strike so they were blocking entrances pestering people with leaflets and ones who were standing there not handing leaflets were just smoking and talking with friends or dancing while banging drums and chanting and shit, they even made a fire for no fucking reason and yesterday i saw them bring a barbecue right outside SOAS

The UCU people handing leaflets and going on strike are the same.group
