Well, I checked that. It's true that these 2 cases are 4 episodes apart but in the manga there are 20 chapters in between. The broadcast order is pretty messed up cometimes.

Most of the cases in this show aren't meant to be solved by viewers because they don't provide viewers with any evidence and many cases are solve thru some absurd leaps of mental gymnastics. People need to realize this show is pure entertainment, not a mental exercise
