Raildex

Why aren't YOU reading the source material?

Why would I want to read some repetitive harem trash?

>unironically reading 25 megabytes of translated japanese text

Just because shippers sperg about the bait that gets slopped their way doesn't mean shipping is what this series is actually about

Misaki a pile of shit

Because the novels are boring to read. I'd rather watch the anime than force myself to read them.

>yfw Raildex is too intelligent for people

>“This is perfect. There are some things about a female body I would like to test out. Take me somewhere dark, and you can have your way with me.”
What?

Does pretty much all conflict still resolve with Touma punching everything and having the most ridiculous plot armor and unbreakable resolve?

He barely punches anyone past index S2. You would know this if you weren't a secondary

Define plot armor. If you mean "doesn't die" then sure, but he's the MC this should be expected of most fiction

What the hell is the series about even? I've watched all of S1 and part of Raildex, yet none of the characters were particularly memorable. I remember most of the villains being more relatable than the main cast.

>all of S1 and part of Raildex

As in for a dude with seemingly no power but some anti magic hand a bullet should end him and yet he seems to be able to deal with enemies much stronger which seems quite ridiculous since he is limited to human movement.

Whoops, I meant To aru Kagaku no Railgun, which I guess was a spin-off.

Touma never really beaten anyone who was truly beyond humans

Secondaries and Railfags are the worst huh...

>a bullet should end him and yet he seems to be able to deal with enemies much stronger
Yeah, who don't use bullets. What's your point? To aru is rock paper scissors. Touma is paper and keeps fighting people with bigger rocks, but still loses the moment anyone pulls out scissors. And occasionally, the rock is too big and he loses anyways, like with Othinus, the Magic Gods, Kamisato sort of.

What's his endgame?

You're joking right...

Meant for

He may face humans but they are super powered ones. Give a normal teenager some anti magic hand and what would be his chances against someone like accelerator? It seems bizarre he keeps being victorious when someone like accelerator should be easily able to destroy him, manipulate the ground, drop some buildings on him, so many ways. And he constantly pulls this off.

killing the magic gods

Accelerator was literally hard countered and couldn't believe what was happening the first time around, literally all the other fights he let Touma win and it was stated in narrative.

Accelerator also isn't really super human if you get past his ability, which is why he got punched the fuck out and shot in the first place, I'm talking real shit like saints

The villains were pretty terrible though. Shallow motives and very one dimensional, flavor of the week shit.

>against someone like accelerator?
Reminder Accelerator has never been in a real fight before Touma. A guy with an "I win" button isn't going to have many tactics

It's called plot armor and ass pulling.
Very common tropes in nip stories.

I do not have the required level of autism to get through NT.

I love the railgun manga though

>secondaries mentioning Accel
>not real fucking men like Acqua who wiped the floor with Touma

Thank you for confirming.

Level 5 Espers > Saints

should attempt this in the other thread user.

arguing with this faggot is useless user, here they will say things like ,in other thread where the discussion is about Touma vs some other faggot, they will worship him an unbeatable machine of god who can dodge a raining highspeed laser beam

It's funny that at the start of this thread I thought this post was ironic, but I am being reminded that in some cases it's literally true. Guess I forget how dumb people are.

>everyone always focuses on Accelerator
>always ignores that Touma already faced a god in the making, and someone who shoves the middle finger at reality already

But that user right there clearly shows him losing to guns

What crazy theory do you think will happen in Index because maybe if we come together which our crazy theory we will be about to guess what happen next in Kamachi's crazy ride know as Index?

Index was bring up to be Coronzon perfect host but after the event of the NT19 if the spoiler of true she no longer will have the chance to do that. Then goes after Touma's mother who after the event of Angel Falls when she switch which Index had a copy of 103 000 Grimoires in her head now even if she doesn't know where this random info to her came from because she know nothing about Magic and do to giving born to Touma who had IB she was purify of the Original Sin.

Is the concept of things depending on the situation lost entirely on you user?

Just makes Kamachi look like a bigger hack......

Can I have the theory again but in english this time

thats cause they think Accelerator is big time when he was already out-showcased by Kanzaki episodes earlier who fucked Touma up

I mean it's not as though Accelerator would lose to Kanzaki. It's simply an issue of situations differing, which for many anons is too alien a concept for them to grasp because they only ever consider fights in a vacuum with dbz levels of x and x+1

The question isn't if accelerator would or wouldn't lose to Kanzaki, its more that Touma hasn't beaten actually anyone who was truly superhuman as far as I remember

I would say Accelerator is super human, the only issue is that his super human-ness was able to be turned off by Touma and he's never been in a real fight.

Is every mikotofag a railgunfag?

Accelerator isn't really a superhuman, no.
Because his power is what allows him to do all that shit, he physically is still a normal guy just like how Mikoto is still a middleschool girl when she's not doing electric shit

within the series, we are already aware of people who are quite literally beyond human just based on physical feats, which is where Kanzaki comes in and is later picked up on by characters like Acqua and even weaker ones like Brunhild

Espers are super human user. It just means you are "more than human" or "have powers greater than a normal human" which Accelerator by far does. You're making up your own definition to suit your needs

Espers are basically magicians who are super-specialized, I'm talking about within the series's own logic.
Yes you can argue that they fall under it BECAUSE they have powers, however with a fight against Touma that becomes irrelevant unless they use alternative means

The point is the series doesn't use that definition, you do. The series calls them "Saints". But your situation also applies likely to espers like Gunha. Which is why it doesn't make sense to make the distinction like that. It's also not as though people who could emulate Saint powers with magic couldn't do the same to Touma regardless of if it could be negated or not, because he simply wouldnt be able to keep up with the base stats

Gunha isn't a esper, he is a gemstone and is in a whole nother ballpark entirely. We also don't know how Gunha interacts with IB due to the nature of his powers, if you're talking about characters like Knight Leader guys like him are practically peak human as it is and Touma doesn't have a good track record if you wanted to call it that

How strong would a Level 6 Accel be?
I'm guessing stronger than than a magic god.

gemstones are espers user

Gemstones aren't actually espers, Gemstones predate both espers and magicians

espers are made based on espers user, and espers experience backlash from magic because gemstones are "banned" from magic, they both exude AIM. You're essentially arguing to me that Neanderthals aren't primates because they predated homo sapiens. Espers are essentially people surgically, medically and hypnotically altered to be like gemstones.

Im a Mikotofag and I hated the Railgun anime except for the Sisters part

*are made based on gemstones.

So I'm watching S1 of Railgun, then I'm gonna watch S1 of Index, then see if I want to keep going from there.

Am I doing it right?

Espers are artificial gemstones.

Which makes gemstones espers.

Skip the first season of Railgun, is not worth watching

Espers are made after Magicians, who in turn was made to compete with gemstones which is why they have personality reality in contrast to magic's idol theory.

Gemstones are Gemstones

Sure... why not.

personal reality*

You seem to be making the square rectangle error here. All gemstones are espers but not all espers are gemstones.

If you wanted to use the logic that they emit AIM, you can make that claim.
However espers are people who go through AC's circulation program, which does not involve the natural process of gemstones

It's impossible to say. If we compared what happened to Mikoto which was, what, like 5%(?) towards level 6... It might be fair to say Accel as a level 6 would be stronger than most of the magic Gods. But it's pure speculation based of the available data.

First season of Railgun is good.

Gemstones existed and Magicians or regular people without talent wanted to have the same power as those that had talent.
Aleister who was the most powerful magician turned his back on the magic world created AC for "some reason".

The origin is irrelevant, they are made to emulate them. A natural sheep grown in the wild, a cloned sheep, a genetically engineered sheep and a selectively bred sheep are all still sheep.

Thinking of it another way, both Index and Aleister are girls. Even if they became girls in different ways.

Clearly it isn't the same, otherwise AC would've known exactly how gemstones work but they don't.

Where did I say they were the same dumbass. Like I said you're having a rectangle square issue here intellectually speaking with accepting this. all gemstones (squares) are rectangles (espers) but not all espers (rectangles) are squares (gemstones). All espers (rectangles) have AIM and personal realities (four sides), not all espers (rectangles) were born with their power (have equal length sides).

This entire discussion started because it was said that Gunha is different, which he is

Correct, but that doesn't mean he suddenly isn't an esper. A person being born a prodigy doesn't mean they aren't human

He ain't a esper, not by AC's kind no.

I'm done trying with your dumbass

I think if they can get an reach level 6 they exist as a god. At that point I don't know if we understand those levels and how they interact but they exist in certain Aeons.
Have seen guesses newer is more powerful but that might not be true.
Horus>Osiris>Isis ?????others????

You didn't really do a damn thing but prove me right, even if you were to say that they emit AIM, AC espers are still very much different from gemstones where the distinction is needed

Because it's contrived bullshit with a excessive amount of 1-dimentional and useless characters.

You haven't proven a thing, you've repeated "but they're slightly different" the whole time.

You just can't understand the concept, which is fine not everyone is born intelligent. Your life. Wolves and retrievers are both canines despite differences, but you don't understand that, so hey you do you. Hopefully I don't see your dumb ass again

Okay? Espers and Gemstones are both human, yeah that's obvious

You really can't accept that Gemstones are a different discussion from half baked mini magician espers?

We don't know if Espers = Gemstones
The espers as is understood by most are people that went through the power curriculum program. Gunha never did and couldn't because he is a gemstone. Few people know that gemstones exist so they get lumped in as espers. We don't know what the goal is with AC. Is it to create gemstones so they could all be called espers? Is it to create level 6, create AIM across the world or something else?

>Accelerator will finally be forgotten once Fiamma hits the big screen
Salvation

Espers function more like a hybrid between magicians and Gemstones anyways

Until you provide sufficient proof that AC has failed to copy gemstones well enough for them to be close enough to the same thing yes. The origin isn't relevant until you provide proof it is. The only gemstone AC cant figure out is Gunha, largely because even he doesn't know what he's on about. Gemstones were copied *so well* in fact that magic's in built mechanism to deny gemstones from using magic works on them as well, clearly, for all intents and purposes they are the same. But since "oh geez user they're born gemstones though" suddenly it doesn't matter. Aleister wasn't born a girl, but that doesn't mean she isn't one now, Mjolnir wasn't born a drum, doesn't mean she isn't one now, Index wasn't born a shit, doesn't mean she isn't one now.
Give a single example of how espers are a hybrid between magicians and espers, seeing as they cannot use magic just like gemstones can't.

Espers are not magicians or a hybrid and has been established that exposing them to magic causes their body to destroy itself eventually leading to death. Reaching level 6 might require exposing espers to magic to create some kind of new hybrid.

Id like you to present proof they know how Himegami's power fully works first, and read the series, that entire gemstone question is something talked about and even came up if Touma was one or not

Also espers are like magicians because they rely on something like idol theory and are like gemstones because they emit aim

See
It's not about them using magic, it's about how they function

Himegami's power is restricted using magic and has no proof besides her word it even exists. Her being a gemstone is as much of a meme as Touma being one is.
>espers use idol theory
Now that's a good one

Personal reality

Touma is not a gemstone. Espers don't rely on idol theory.

Read, both espers and magicians need to distort reality

Is not idol theory.

I'm amazed you can be so obstinate that gemstones and espers aren't the same but think idol theory and personal reality are remotely the same.

See
Never said it was the same but the function very much is

I guess Espers are magic gods too aren't they, they both distort reality.

Both distort reality but,
Espers believe in their own personal reality.
Magicans believe in something else which distorts reality.

Who knows, but that doesn't negate what I said

Has it ever been stated that gemstones don't use a personal reality?

It does because it shows your logic is flawed moron.

I didn't say it's the same exact thing, I said it's a similar process which it is

No but it doesn't say that they do, we really have no idea how they work

>stating how two things is similar as explained to us within the series is dumb now

We don't know how gemstones powers work or if they use personal reality but we do know they emit AIM.
