Like you could get over an inch (with as far as 2 inch at times) in difference of height between corners of rooms, with each corner being a different height, uneven backing behind the walls if any so screwing the gypsum board were a total pain, you'd have to either remember or guess where the stud were. We had to recut nearly every single board because the moment we'd place it, we'd found out shit was so fucking uneven that you couldn't even push the gypsum board into place. Air duct that came out the wall for like an inch or two, so we had to squeeze them so it would fit, also were sealed with the CHEAPEST product (that fucking liquid sealant that look like utter shit, i dunno the name) for it rather than tape.

The funniest tho is that contractors always whined afterward because they had to pay 2x the fucking rate someone who knew his fucking job, to undo the countless fuck up of the last bunch of illiterate Hindus. Should have opted for quality from the get go.

Recently moved from Vancouver to the interior and I work in Alberta oil patch.
Alberta is currently run by a socialist government and the largest city Calgary has had a gay muslim as mayor for nearly a decade. The capitol Edmonton might as well change its name to New Mogadishu. The future looks not so bright from here.

I havnt been to Calgary in quite a while but im pretty sure its gotten bad yea, neither city is Toronto/Van tier but not. I should also mention this, company recently started contracting Indian exchange students because they work for so cheap and will get bused in en mass. Terrible fucking workers though, it's amazing how they're apparently here as 'University students' and yet can't speak a drop of English. It's funny how uniform they all are - sweat pants, terrible B.O. and the same uncomprehending look on their face whenever you try to explain anything to them.
