alright, I'm fucking tired from work, I want to post about owls being awesome and hilarious

post and discuss owls. Actually, question: they DON'T make Japari buns right? That's the robots. Do we even know exactly how distribution works (like was it covered in the guidebooks)?

White-faced owls are pretty cute man.
The owls are jerks though, but I guess that's just the spice that makes them fun, yes? The only animals around who aren't immediately and overtly friendly, but are still reliable.

Japan seems to love them some stoic lolis.

What if there were a bunch of deep frozen Japari buns which are eidble for decades without the risk of foodborne disease?

> they DON'T make Japari buns right? That's the robots. Do we even know exactly how distribution works (like was it covered in the guidebooks)?

Apparently they cover it a bit in the audio drama thing on the recent music CD, since they visit the factory where they're made. I can't speak or really understand Japanese so I don't know what they're saying. I assume the Boss' are responsible for distribution, since the little guys are all over the place. How they do it without arms is a totally different question.

The entire reason I like them, at least, is due to them being jerks.

Wish I could find more (uploaded) doujinshi exclusively about them. Here's a couple of shorts. Actually part of a set of 4, but the first one isn't on topic.

unfortunately untranslated

I don't actually know how freezing things works. What is "freezer burn" anyway?

I really know so little. Thinking of stuff lasting for decades makes me imagine preservatives, which have their own problems.

Owls are really kashikoi. They made Kaban into cook for them before they gave her the answer.

That's bullying

this one just features owls (which is enough for me)

It may be better to post a link for larger comics like this, since another thread got in trouble for that unfortunately.

That sort of behavior is deplorable in Japari Park! I love it.

...

I hope someone translates this

Story times aren't allowed either...?

At least not in threads "like this", huh. Well, I'll hold off.

You can probably read it translated one day here danbooru.donmai.us/pools/12939

How many KF comics did Mizu Asato even make?

not enough

sad

It's an unfortunate state of affairs to have to walk on eggshells like this. I know there was a Gash Bell thread that was left alone, as well as other storytime threads, but KF seems to be a volatile subject right now.

> We are wise
> We're the chiefs of this island
There's something inherently funny about these phrases. I really like them.

...

Are they smart or the rest of the friends are idiots?

yes

...

I really like how this guy sticks to closely to the show's designs.

He probably traced it

Kids! These owls are bratty, childish kids who are two smart for their own good! I bet they were really lonely until they found one another because they just went around trying to show everyone how smart they are in the most annoying ways possible until everyone ignored them.

When the next episode featured a problem being solved with the solution offered by a Friend other than Kaban, I start to doubt Owls.

If you put them in a normal school setting, they'd probably seem dumber than average, since there's a lot of stuff they'd be unfamiliar with since they don't need it for normal day to day life. Can you imagine the backlash and bullying they'd get for acting and speaking like they do?

by the way I love this guy's stuff and wish the western internet was more into him

another good one

storing those books in an opened area not a wise thing

Who is this artist? Hukigen and reverse search aren't bringing up any results.

Tis hikka, hikka06 on twitter.

Wise or not, they're even bigger troublemakers than Serval.

It'd be traumatic, sure, but I'd still like to see it because they really are bright and would be able to catch up to the other kids in no time. Just based on this show, these are a couple of human owls who taught themselves to read, basic electrical knowledge and mechanics, which are all practical stuff, but require ingenuity and dedication nonetheless. The vindication would be so sweet when they finally grasp equations and algebra
in grade three and jump a grade or two ahead of other kids.

Much appreciated friend

>bribing with library resources
Knowledge is power indeed...

Choi choi desu!

So that's where they got the glasses!

Everything gets a coating of Sandstar, so it's fine.

...

but if she gave them the glasses, how can she watch that video?

Bamboozled again by the wise owls!

but Serval isn't killing anyone

She's a special cat. She can manage.

Sure, she just "play" hunting

Feed us

Say what you want, she deserved to be bullied.

did she kill Kaban?

and Kaban will whisper "no"

What were the Owls' tax policy?

I like the owls.

Oh shit, it's more Quick Wiper stuff. Love this artist's KF stuff.

6000 Japari Coin

So would Serval be Chaos while Kaban is Order?

A month's worth of Japari buns.

You resist, but you will fail.
You represen chaos, we represent order.
Every Friends must be absorbed in order to bring order to the chaos. It is inevitable.

cute

She blocks your way.

They'd definitelt end up a bit more humble about their abilities after an ordeal like that. Though since you don't need and advanced education to be the Chiefs of Japari park, so it'd probably last about a month before they go back to normal.

That said, for some reason imagining them being overwhelmed and scared in a school setting, like they were in the comcert short makes them even cuter.

I want to eat Kaban's cooking.

How long does the Friends live?

Apparently they have no lifespan limit, and just live until getting turned back into animals somehow, either due to being eaten by Ceruleans or "accidents".

Arrogant Friends like Hakase are kind of cool for some reason

The author said his drawing style looked alike in the first place, though of course he made an effort to imitate the original designs.

New game information on the 18th.

Is this good news for Tatsuki ?

It shouldn't. If anything, it looks like Kusokawa is trying to push everything forward before they have to explain anything about Tatsuki and the so called "negotiations".

The single for the games theme song is being released on the 13th December and the game itself was promised out by the end of the year. If anything you would be expecting more info soon seeing as the game will likely be released in the within 2 months.

No. Kaban represent Civilization, Serval is Nature. They are the tale of Gilgamesh and Enkidu retold, but with less harlots.

iirc, Freezer burn occurs because of the contraction of the foodstuff as the water in it forced out and frozen as it's exposed to the surrounding air. This is because the freezer is too slow or due to slight defrosting of the food stuff (say, because the door opens and closes too often or for too long). As a consequence, food with freezer burn tend to be relatively dried out.

How can I get translated guide?

So apparently I cannot watch this in my country. Any livestream by the chinese right now?

It's a week away user.

>The Disaster

rude

Only a couple of pages were fully translated like that.

Thanks

Kaban is not a Friend anymore and she turned into human, right?

Do you guys like the current twin-esque dynamic the owls have going, or do you think it would have been better if Mimi was taller than Konoha?

The characters assumed that, but she seemed to be regrowing her gloves and leggins so she's probably still a Friend.

It's still funny to see how each generation of Serval seems to drop 5 IQ points.

...

I really like that thing where they rub their cheeks together like real owls do sometimes
that might have been harder to do with a size difference.
then again, my faith in the japari gods dictates that smol hakase would have some similarly cute things to do

Almost all of the Friends were in the same range of height. Only few centimeters were the difference, even for big animals.
