Fansubbing really is dead.
There have been BD raws of this film out for around two weeks now and still no subtitles.

Lurk more.
Fansubs of movies often take months. That's not new.
I watched it in cinema. Feels good. I can spoiler you if you want.
Doesn't look cute.
Name some.
Not out yet, but I'm 97% sure the subs for the incoming Thunderbolt Fantasy film will take at least 4-5 months after the disc release.
Is it good?
It's great. I gave it 10/10. Japanese carmakers BTFO the anime.
Maybe because it was bad?
I haven't seen it but I have the impression it is going to be one of those watch once and then forget kind of things rather than a work of sheer outstanding brilliance and all time classic.
Explain how Koe no Katachi got subbed then.
Because Koe no Katachi was good. This wasn't. Not hard to explain.
It had a camrip long before the BD was out.
Koe no Katachi has the manga fanbase in place. Original anime have it much worse.
>Koe no Katachi
>good
Thanks for the laugh.
>This wasn't.
Let me guess. You are that one autistic type that enjoys ridiculous and overblown drama like Clannad.
Raws are out? Time to download.
You should just learn Japanese, user. If you do that, all anime become yours to watch.
>implying the end of this shitheap wasn't completely ridiculous
He probably hasn't even seen the film. If something isn't available to pirate subbed then 90% of comments on Sup Forums are going to be hearsay or fabrication.
What was ridiculous about it?
Good to know.
Actually, the subs I watched went overboard in at least one instance.
>He's uploading a curse!
This wasn't what was being said, but I still find it funny and endearing.
I can't remember that well but it got really carried away with the whole climax scene at the HQ with the girl's grandad, and the robot scooter thing jumping in to save her. Just felt silly.
I saw it in the cinema in August.

So you can't into dream aesthetic and magic realism? Why are you so down to earth, user?
I guess it's just not my thing. I suppose the film wasn't really bad per se (except for the CG), but it wasn't as good as some of the other anime films recently so I suppose I went in with higher expectations.
That's weird, cause other original anime films that came out recently employ the very same deus ex machina you hate (Your Name).
