Can we just shit on this anime please? I have never seen a worse usage of flashbacks, they fucking make you sit through half a cour to answer one stupid question, "How did he die?" AND HE DOESN'T FUCKING EVEN DIE. I guess I'm so angry because I feel like I've been had, I feel taken advantage of.

I mean we know from only a couple episodes in that he was killed because the power inside the sword made him violent. But literally, the entire show just seems to be foreshadowing that moment, and building it up, and I'm worried the final climax is LITERALLY going to be the showdown between Shin and the other guy, a fucking flashback climax that we already know the results of.
