Nobody cares. Seriously that spoiler faggot is irrelevant

Emma and Ray are mary sue and gary stu characters? Serious question.

the lack of tension really ruined this manga

>- Emma choose a knife and her bow & arrows.
Out of all weapons she chooses a fucking bow?!
> Little girl who is going in a big dangerous journey out of all weapon arsenal chooses bow which requires a lot of experience and stamina.
Fuck this shit. She could get a sniper gun, grenades, pistol, and this'd be still much better choice than this fucking bow.

I dropped this a while ago. Looks like nothing interesting is happening yet. I'll pick it back up when Norman comes back.

You faggots better not lewd Emma like in the last thread.

who cares, she was magically an expert with the bow right off the bat

emma a shit
so she deserves it

norman the mary sue was the most boring part of the series though

glad he's out

Fuck you, Emma's the best.

fuck off norman

>he thinks the boring waifufag won't be back in a "shocking" twist
hahahaha

>Rayfags

No spying on Grace Fields to see how the kids are doing, then?
Okay.

who gives a shit about these useless kids

didn't say that. I responded some shit taste faggot who actually looks forward to norman's return

I'm enjoying the current storyline much more after his exit

They just left, the other kids can figure stuff out. Or at least Gilda, everyone else seems useless as fuck.

probably mostly shippers looking forward to Norman's return

I'm going to post this in every thread.
youtube.com/watch?v=duHfdP6q5Lc
No real reason, I just want to do it.

>with the bow right
B-but I wanted to see some Fallout atmosphere with all these guns and not a fucking bow and cavemen hunting ;_;

>implying Rayfags would shit on Emma
This is Sherry, user

Too bad, Emma is here to ruin your dreams.

Sherry needs to shut up and get blacked.

>people who liked the first part of the story over this garbage are automatically shippers
Is this how you justify your shit taste?

As always.

But Phil is for Emma

when did I say that? I said people who are impatient for Norman to return are mostly shippers. I didn't deny the first part is better but I don't think it was better because of Norman. Norman's only trait is loving Emma.

Shut up, Phil, she doesn't want you.

Norman, pls.
Phil has more chances to be with Emma than you. Hell, everyone has more chances especially McBeardo who will be travelling with them at least for one arc~

>non canon death scene
You never had a chance to begin with.

not even a shipper but at least Norman is her age, what the fuck is wrong with you

>Special Friends
Their friendship was very, very superficial. Actually, we barely know them. A hugging scene doesn't change that.

Again, people are impatient retards who wants TENSION every fucking chapter in a shonen, like it's a possible thing to do.

It's the same guy/s every week, probably mad at the series popularity in japan, just ignore him

Reminds me of that one guy getting really mad TPN got CPs "every two weeks". You can tell it's the same anons by the way they word their arguments.

That was what made the Escape arc so good and strong though. They’re playing cat and mouse with Mama, someone who is both their caretaker and prison guard, trying to figure out how much the other party knows without blowing out cover

Fuck I knew Emma wouldn't upgrade from the bow. I just wanted a sniper rifle Emma

>You never had a chance to begin with.
Nobody cares, that this is non canon. The most important thing is that Emma think that Norman is dead like this. And she's not a necrophile. So her endgame will be someone else. And that person is Phil.

She thinks he's dead but she won't forever. Face it, you lost, Phil.

>She thinks he's dead but she won't forever.
Of course. Emma'll be happy to know that her dear brother Norman is alive, especially after her wonderful marriage with Phill.

>this delusion
Phil please, we know it's you.

How did you find out?

Just a feeling.

No Norman is, Ray and Emma have flaws in their plans, like Ray having to kill himself to save everyone else. Norman just magically knows everything and the perfect answer.

Yes, but you can't expect that level of suspense in every arc.
We have many questions and a lot of world building besides pure stress and pressure (which still exists although it has decreased).
Give it time.

I just want to remind everyone that Emma is perfect.

>Hey, a guy with a gun made Emma a hostage!
>Oh, no! What do we do?
>Oh, don't worry she punched his balls and ran away!
>Thank God!
>Shit, now he's going to shoot us!
>Relax: FRIENDSHIP SPEECH POWER!
>Oh, good, he fainted just because and now we have a full base of supplements we need to survive!
>Awesome!

It's not about having tension always, it's about having the least tension. Something that died from the moment the author used cheap writing to save Ray from getting burned and let them all escape the orphanage without consequences.

And knowing the TPN fans I already know that the arguments will be more or less these:
>Yeah, but the chapter has had some interaction, so I can ignore it.
>Who cares for asspulls and forced plans, Emma is a psycho HUR HUR love Emma HUR HUR psycho kid is great
>Stop being a hater, the story is still in the beginning.
>Then stop reading and read your generic battle shonen, MHA/OP/BCfag!

I think what people are trying to tell you is that saying the same thing every week is getting old. Not even trying to be a.cunt here, maybe this manga just isn't for you. If something angered me this much, I'd just give up on it.

She's assymetrical, though.

>I think what people are trying to tell you is that saying the same thing every week is getting old.
This goes for the fans too.
>maybe this manga just isn't for you.
See? The same answer, always. The problem is not the writing, the problem is me. None of the counter-arguments are directed at the series, but at me.

Anyway, you're clearly not an asshole and I do not mean to offend you, but my arguments are still valid.

I'm not saying the series doesn't have problems or that your arguments aren't valid, though. I'm just saying that if it makes you angry then maybe it's just an indication to let it go. Obviously it's up to you, it's just advice.
It's cool, I understand your point.

Reminder that ray x Emma is endgame with Norman becoming the antagonist

It's not about tension always, but risky, unsafe enviroment, fauna, monsters, more monsters who can obliterate other fucking monsters, poachers, insane humans...

There are many details that build a dangerous world and you may reduce the scene with the nameless guy to the absurd, but it's still another component for the list of dangerous things that enrich everything.

The answers other anons give you are always the same because there is no other (although I agree they could have done a better job making the scene you're talking about): everything is still developing and you expect that same level of tension but that's not possible unless one child dies per chapter, lower your expectations, the mcs have recently been in danger in the forest, now they found Minerva's coordinates and are safe because they've managed to control the guy with fucking explosives.

Seems like they don't have much trouble surviving but if I look at all the information we have, it's not really a nice and happy adventure.

Reminder that ray x Emma is shit and you're a faggot.

>Ray's wound seems to have healed.
His ear, or did he have another wound?

Is the Gilda x Ray stuff mentioned in the toc thread true? I wanna see how the couple of RayxAnna fags will ever recover

>Gilda x Ray
What the fuck did I miss.

His ear wound, but it seems like it was just a small incision to get the tracker out rather than slice the whole thing off like some daft slag

>Emma remembered a discussion with Sonju, telling her about the importance of being able to escape if necessary so she needs something not heavy.
>something about "killing only if escaping is not possible" so unceseeray weapons are more a curse than a blessing.

speed reader shitposter

here

Cute shitpost, but Emma was the one to cut the tracker out. She didn't have to time to be as precise with her own.

This is gonna bring even more shippers to the threads.

You're seriously believing that prepubescent kids with no firearm experience at all would be able to handle the recoil of a rifle let alone have the strength to carry it around while escaping if needed.

Cutting her own ear off wasn't even part of the plan, if she had just ran outside under the guise of "evacuation" it would've left the same amount of time as a distraction for mama then cutting her tracker out for an ebin tweest

I've never used a bow but don't you need a lot of strength to be good with it? Granted, Emma was noted for being stronger than the other kids but if she trained maybe she could get used to it. Problem is they don't have time to train right now.

Rifle kickback is a lot different from pulling a bow back and they're literally leaving right now and have no time to learn properly and beard-kun won't teach them just cause

>character name: mama spear man
>>attribute: -4 strength, 7 dex, 5 endurance, 5 will
>>trait's: Anti-large(she wields spear, a long sharpe weapon that gives her the advantage against large target that towers her)

Attracting Mama to a specific location by leaving her ear there did buy her time, even if just a couple of seconds. You can't be picky in a situation where you could die.
But that's beside the point, if Ray's ear isn't fully caught off it's because Emma was careful with it.

>the mcs have recently been in danger in the forest
You call that dangerous? Whenever something bad happened they repaired in the next scene.
>Seems like they don't have much trouble surviving but if I look at all the information we have, it's not really a nice and happy adventure.
Nor is it sad or distressing. In fact, they seem very ok with everything. Let's remember that Norman "died" and they just did not care. Only in the more recent chapters he was mentioned, and by Emma.

So when I say there is no tension it is because nothing really seems to affect them. My friend died? Okay, let's move on. The younger children have never left home and may end up dying too? Okay, let's move on. Do I need to cut my ear? Okay, let's move on. This weird guy made me hostage? I punched him and let's move on.

she still bought time for everyone, cliche or not

>Gilda x Ray

But he looks nothing like Ray

>leave Sung-Joo to me!

Gilda x Ray with Don as their bull is endgame

>Let's remember that Norman "died" and they just did not care. Only in the more recent chapters he was mentioned, and by Emma.
This is my one complaint about the series. Seriously, what the fuck. No one but Emma seems to give a shit that he's "dead".

>Nor is it sad or distressing. In fact, they seem very ok with everything. Let's remember that Norman "died" and they just did not care. Only in the more recent chapters he was mentioned, and by Emma.
Read it again, you've skipped all the part where Ray and Emma are literally in the deepest despair after that.

And this can be applied to any part after the escape.

Fuck Gilda and Don's alternate world ugly spawn, the girl is a massive qt.
>ahoge
Nice.

>Makeshift bandana out of an old cable cord
Why?

Do not lust after Alice-chan, please.

>Read it again, you've skipped all the part where Ray and Emma are literally in the deepest despair after that.
Okay, show me this deepest despair, please. And I'm talking about storytelling, not something you're guessing based on what you saw in half a page every 20 chapters. Despair is something constant, even if subtle.

>Alice
So what's the name of her autistic cousin with questionably dangerous fashion sense?

He's that one retard that tags along with you without asking but you pity him too much to tell him he's a loser kinda guy.

Ron. It sounds like Don, but it starts with the R from "retard" instead. Doesn't get anymore fitting than that.

They became suicidal and that lasted until Emma had an idea and was able to convince Ray that they had to escape with all the kids.

After that, Ray spent all his time thinking about Norman, who could not surpass and who was right that he had to trust the little ones.

But yeah:

>Let's remember that Norman "died" and they just did not care.

>white hair
Posuka pls

Don't forget Emma's despair during the hunting lesson with Sung Joo and learning about the flower "used" to "kill" Norman or Ray's expression when Emma brought up how she wished Norman was there in the shelter with them

Again, deepest despair is something constant, even if subtle. There is no point getting suicidal for two chapters and then move on as if everything had already been resolved. It is about the death of a friend we are talking about, this is not overcome so easily and quickly.

During the entire arc of the forest, Norman is almost forgotten. No one of the children talks about him, Emma and Ray do not touch the subject. The keikakuing is more important.

Honestly, I would love to see a scene of them dine in a cave and one of the kids would ask about Norman. Then Emma would give Ray a sad look and he would answer that they would see him soon and then he would send the kid to sleep. Then Ray and Emma would talk alone in a place about how Norman was and stuff and then they will give each other a hug or say "I miss him", whatever.

>Gilda x Ray
Now that's a a random pairing

To be honest, while I do think they should mention him more, the times Emma did I didn't really feel much for her because you always have that part of you that knows, as the reader, that he's not dead.
Whenever she brings up Norman I find myself going
>whatever, not like you won't see him again
That's probably a "me" problem though.

>or Ray's expression when Emma brought up how she wished Norman was there in the shelter with them
That single tiny little panel? After 20 chapters?
Really? I give up. If that is enough to be called "deepest despair", trying to argue that the characterization of the series is weak is pointless.

>Nanashi
Is that his name?

Will don cuck Ray or Gilda?

Nanashi is literally "nameless".

no

Well, then. Guess we won't be learning his name anytime soon.
Do you think he'll tell Emma and Ray after he's been fatally wounded protecting them?

Probably we'll never know

>Norman just magically knows everything and the perfect answer.
Just like Ray with his "muh amnesia bullshit" or "muh I know about your bomb". Emma is more cool, but still solve everything without trouble.

Well, you said they didn't care about Norman and I showed you that they suffered and definitely they care about him.

But again, you want them to suffer in each chapter, being on the verge of death and madness every fucking time.

It's like you need to be told all the time to make it clear to you that they're suffering. Don't be dumb.

Fucking again.
There is no reason for them to crying his death in every goddamn panel and nobody wants that. It's enought to see how desperate they are after his death, but not in 20 chapters.
That's why a small detail after many chapters is fine.

Do you know what this manga is about? It's about surviving and they are doing that.

Don't ignore Ray's character development, from >we can escape alone and leave the little kids behind
to
>let's die because there is no hope
to
>I need to surpass Norman and save the kids

According to you they have to remain in despair and just die, but no, that's not how this manga works.
Escape from the farm is the most important objective even if they are desperate and sad because a friend is dead. That's all.

Yes, and?
