Why does everyone hate this, I had a chair of a time watching it.
Sword Art Online
It's a 5/10, but most of the plebs that hate it also like Boku no Hero Academia. It's basically bait for plebs for thinking they have "good taste" when they like even worse shit
He basically got laid and pounded Asuna after like 3 or 4 episodes. What's the fun of that?
this is the problem with the series. It seems like things just came way too easy for the protagonist. He needs to at least pretend that he's working for something. In general, people like underdog stories a lot more.
It's actually good.
Its average but the flaws it made are so stronly presented in works inspired from it that most people rage at it as the cause of all
Best grills, best VAs, best songs. IT's like Symphogear but less gay.
Except Symphogear revolves around music, has fuckall to do with vidya, and is ultimately a better product.
Yuuki, Sinon, Liz, and Premiere are fucking miracles though desu.
I am watching SAO right now and enjoying it.
How does this make you feel?
Good. Glad you're enjoying it. I don't really like it aside from my precious angel Sinon , but I'm glad you like it.
Because the whole thing is a self-insert for edgy retarded teens. But we aren't teens, we're NEETs.
Hipsters and youtuber shills hate it, aka vocal minority.
People with big influences Shill how much they dislike it
Normal SAO is pretty bad. For some reason though I'm enjoying the SAO: Progressive manga a lot.
i'm in the same boat. honestly SAO has never been good, but its pretty and the setting is enjoyable enough, and the prog manga is the best of both of those things.
Only the initial premise had potential, and the anime ruined most of it with poor pacing (although to be fair, the pacing wasn't much better in the LN either) After they escape the first game, it just becomes a purely self insert power fantasy.
And the pseudo-harem antics also become extremely annoying.
Progressive manga is great, mostly because of the artist.
Well, I like most of SAO, except the main character. That's probably why I'm enjoying Alternative: GGO so much.
After Kirito and Asuna got together, and started playing house, it went to shit. I couldn't even finish the first season after that.
The only reason why you see people hating this show is because people like Digi ans MB circlejerk the show as bad.
Anyone who "hates" this show usually repeats the same, stale, talking points they do.
They also likely enjoy the abridged series.
If you enjoyed the show, that's understandable.
New chapter of progressive when?
Why would you hate Boku no Hero Academia, it was a chair of an Anime.
I unapologetically and unironically. love SAO. Yes it had its faults but I enjoyed the hell out of it. And after 1000's of time I still smile like a fool whenever I listen to crossing field.
Sup Forums only hated it because of the rabid normie fanbase that sprung up around it.
And OS was an awesome movie. I feel it should have ended the franchise - would have been the perfect bookend to S1. I am not looking forward to Alicziation to be honest.
Probably because you're the type of person to use a phrase like "chair of a time".
It has a sorta fun anime to but the story elements are shit. I am a LN fag and other LN fags thought it was a mediocre story before the anime aired. It was a total shock that we saw how popular it became. This pretty much proves the fact that no matter how shitty a story is, if it is animated well, it could become popular.
Isn't this just a thinly veiled harem anime?
