What used to be nice comfy threads that for the most part got left alone to do their own thing quietly, with the biggest arguments being about interpretations of series related meta, after this last couple of months have been filled with all sorts of undesirables and trolls.

I would much prefer being there and not having the problem of being deleted just for making a thread about a character, for example. Like Kancolle got pushed there and you still see character-specific threads. But although most of /jp/ probably wouldn't care if KF was added in, mods as always are out of touch

Being 100% honest, not having one big, 24/7 thread for all things Kemono Friends would actually be fine for a while. It's what the mods were acting against, and I can see why based on the history such threads have. The last recent 24/7 threads for series would eventually exhaust its subject, go completely off topic, and degrade into near exclusive waifu/notPorn/off-site-porn posting. We're lucky that we don't have any trip fags of any sort, though I imagine our posting styles would begin to be very familiar, and since there are people who have admitted to not using Sup Forums for anything but Kemono Friends, we can potentially run in to the issue of a foreign feeling sub-community in Sup Forums, which was another quality of bad generals and was most extreme in DJT. I understand why they're worried and want people to not make all-encompassing, 24/7 threads.
The problems came when they, I'm assuming due to the timing, went on a deletion rampage and snipped any thread vaguely related to Kemono Friends. I assume it was because they thought that it was the same people trying to make a stealth general (in some cases they were not wrong), but deleting stuff like manga translations was just unnecessary. If they weren't so heavy handed with their approach, I don't think there would be as much of an issue as there is right now. Not to say that the posters are completely innocent either: the dudes going ape over not having a 24/7 thread, even during periods where we were scraping the barrel for subjects didn't help their case at all, and just caused unnecessary friction.

Personally I'm in these threads MORE now simply because I got bothered at the idea of an anime being banned on the anime and manga board. Although I agree with you, there is actually precedent for that sort of thing happening. I don't know all the details of it, but if Naruto was not banned, it was not for lack of trying on the part of the user base. People here do call for the banning of shows they do not like, and while they really should not be heeded, fanbases going full retard and acting absurdly have gotten them kicked from Sup Forums, even if for only a time.
There's also stuff like Sup Forums kicking SU to /trash/. The Equine scourge was on a whole different level and the fate the got was a response to a truly extreme problem.

I partially agree with you there too, the amount of canned thread titles around here is just awful, and there's too much generic, unthinking cynicism around here. But I'd rather it not be impossible to talk about this show on Sup Forums because some guys couldn't keep their autism in check. I'm sure there are a bunch of Jojo-fags who are annoyed that their favorite show is going to be regularly connected to mass, sweeping acts of faggotry and treated as toxic waste because of it, myself included.

The fanbase for Kemono Friends never went "full retard" or behaved absurdly. They were mostly just quiet threads with fans discussing the show, characters, and whatever news came up and events were going on. The threads only really went shit on after the seemingly arbitrary decision to start deleting threads which in itself attracted shitposters and trolls. Before that KF threads were for the most part ignored by everyone else on Sup Forums who wasn't interested. Then you had a whole string of publicity grabbing events that just exacerbated things.
The only way fanbases of shows are ever going to think this kind of removal is fair is if the decision is based on something that isn't just the judgement of some mod who probably isn't even involved. That kind of judgement always leaves open many rationalisations fans can make for the threads being deleted which are not related to their quality.
Personally I wouldn't mind there being a public time limit set on discussion of shows like 2ch where they have /anime/ for airing stuff and then /anime2/ for stuff that is no longer airing but has enough fans wanting to discuss it to sustain threads.

7 years ago, Grape-kun got dumped by his mate Midori, who left him for a younger male. They went on to have a kid, while Grape-kun was stuck in the same enclosure as them and had to watch.
When he found Hululu, he was about 20, which is near the end of a lifespan for a Humboldt penguin in captivity. His eyesight was probably shot, and he couldn't tell the difference.
At least they bothered to move the cutout next to him when he was dying.

The Owls lack the common loli (i.e. Sexy little anime girl) aesthetic, but they're explicitly designed to look very young and be childish. I've heard many people say that Friends, even ones explicitly designed to look young lack loli appeal, and I guess this just leaves them as looking like children. Nobody would say someone like Bag is supposed to be an adult, not even a teenager. When she got an official SD design, Bag was drawn to be younger looking than the other humans.
As to why the girls lack that appeal while still looking young, I do not know. It may just be who's drawing, them, or the models that are used for the show, which are not the best looking all things considered.
