what? suppose 1.7 millions fled to deep USSR territory, but there were 3.3 millions in poland and 4 million in western USSR to begin with. romania+hungary at least 1 million more, and we haven't mentioned western europe.

None of the people I've seen speak sound willing to commit violence or die for the cause. The internal fears they still have make their arguments sound weak. In war you only give up ground in order to draw the enemy into the slaughter. If people like sargon ask you if you have to commit violence to oust certain people just say yes I will if it comes to that. The time of making people feel safe and comfortable has passed.
