But it is though, the dude he fused with is give a lot of screen time and their relationship is explained thoroughly till the end of the manga as more questions are being answered and threads filled. The last minute final boss also ties in fairly consistent with all of that. Whether the boss only shows up at the end or not doesn't mean that's necessarily bad because it's not that last minute and its story ties in with everything else.
Dakki not having any serious fights just feels like a childish complaint, 'muh battles', it's a breath of fresh air the way her entire story developed compared to most battle shonens, and the fact that shit fought so little adds to that. But really though, why are you so angry about it? It's a pretty niche manga to hold such a grudge for.
