Ya I understand your concern, I'm not sure how to fix it or where to move to escape it. One of my friends said Ecuador was a good change. Alternatively we might need to be brave and work together to try to fix it. But it's no easy task, I admit.

I guess we need to start by improving our elected officials. Finding a way to promote only ones that put their constituents first, and shut out the ones that are corrupted by campaign contributions (bribes). Maybe a website to organize local/state/federal elections.

Capitalism to me is a tool, when society has morals it is the most productive, when society doesn't, it can be socially just as bad as communism. That being said, it is a tool and I think that it is the natural hierarchy and has been for thousands of years. If a man can earn a living honestly I don't see a point to having the state redistribute it all since they often don't know what's best. The cultural critique of modern capitalism, however, I do somewhat agree with.

The third position is to me, more of a reaction to degeneracy than a solution.
