I went to the store last evening for fish and all I could find was fish meat, I asked the monger for whole fish and they don't keep them (especially not fresh) as no one buys them. They don't even keep the heads after processing which I also asked for. I was actually looking forward to stinking up my flat after stewing fish for hours and trying to explain to my roommates what the smell was if it meant some anons would get a kick out of it but It's easy to say dropping the project is definitely for the better since I don't even have glow grass let alone whole fish.

Being a fan of the manga before the adaptation came out definitely enhanced my enjoyment of the anime in certain ways. I was already really attached to the characters and seeing their journey brought alive with great animation, direction and musical direction was one of the best experiences out of anime as a medium in years.

That being said, seeing the anime play out without knowing what was gonna happen may have a greater impact on you. Either way both are great, and apart from a few small differences both tell exactly the same story.
