That's what is weird. Not only did he make it out of the building but they identified him extremely quick despite claiming he was in a mask. It's pretty crazy they identified him and located him without anyone ever seeing his face. also he changed clothes so it's not like they would know what he's wearing.
He originally plead GUILTY which meant that they wouldn't need to investigate anything since he admitted fault. Now that he changed his plea, shit can be investigated like the FOOTAGE

From what I understand, the original plea deal kept his testimony to police private, and it also took the death penalty off the table. If the prosecution is not honoring the original deal then that may be why he is now pleading not guilty.
