Robot x Laserbeam

>3 years later

wait what?

It either got canceled or this three year time skip is a huge deal out of left field. Probably the former but I haven't paid attention to its rankings in WSJ.

like golf swings and polo shirts would ever attract the fujos

Does that mean they're in college now?

It seems all of them will be now focusing 100% on golf.

Maybe its just skipping high school because the power creep is too hard to negate

rip

It's not cancelled.

>WSJ manga
>not happening during high school years
>Not canceled

WHAT IS THIS MADDNESS?!

WAIT WHAT?!

exactly

Yeah this threw me the fuck off, I was hyped to see Robot awe the audience in high school, guess those matches don't mean shit and pro is where it's all at

Basically this.

too strong, should've let him fail hard and have something to work towards, unless author wants golf to turn into super power battles

>no robots
>not even any laserbeams

well... I guess we'll get the training and improvements of Robo in flashbacks then... if it's not getting axed ofc.

>remember when Robo became a regular in just 3 months?
>haha, yeah! I still hate him for that.

Does anybody actually like this blatant marty stu manga?

Huh, yeah?

hopefully it got axed

You don't sound too convinced.

Has his writing improved since KnB or is it still as retarded?

...

I'm just wondering when they start sacrificing their lifespan to use the ultimate techniques.

that was on like chapter 9 or something, now there's a timeskip of 3 years where they all go pro, I suspect that point will be reached in 2 -3 chapters more.

>yfw robo will still be shit at everything except straight shoots after the timeskip

Good. Professional players >>> Teenagers in a high school club.

>Its like... It's like a laser beam!!
>A robot-like movement with a shot like a laserbeam!

that's exactly it.

I just hope the series didn't get axed, it's not everyday you see a Shonen between a bunch of college-age students.

so when robot's swings going to be powerful enough to send opponents into the shadow realm

Sasuga

>WSJ
>SHONEN magazine
>skipping high school

You people are delusional and retarded. It's axed. In the history of all manga there has NEVER EVER been a sports series that starts in high school freshman year and then just skips it before even half a year is over and continues on 3 years later. It simply gets axed.

You may as well be saying "well maybe the next chapter will feature gay porn".

Well Hajime no Ippo kind of ignored the high school theme for the most part.

it's also shit

It did not skip high school, he simply did not go to school. There was no time skip, those 3 years were followed along in the manga scene by scene. At no point even during training time skips did he ever skip fucking years.

>In the history of all manga there has NEVER EVER been a sports series that starts in high school freshman year and then just skips it before even half a year is over and continues on 3 years later.
Okay, then this manga will be the first one to do that. What's the problem here?

You're retarded if you believe that, because it won't happen. This series clearly bombed, it was always near the bottom and no one actually likes it or thinks it's impressive. It's also gay as hell and unlike the basketball gay, it's not attractive to the fujos because they think golf is stupid. The manga doesn't do a very good job convincing kids and fujos of how 'extreme' golf is, it just makes it look lame and the kids pathetic.

damn, already axed?

>skipped 3 years of brown qt
fug

>We get time skip brown qt
She will have aged like fine wine

Why are you so mad about a golfing series? Axed or not we'really at least getting some post-HS action unless you think the next chapter is the last one.

So was the chick 2 chapters ago his mom or his sister

>Why are you so mad about a golfing series?
I'm not mad at a golfing series, I'm just saying you're retarded because you are. Lurk more if you're gonna post stupid shit that reeks of reddit.

The next chapter IS the last one. How many series have more than one chapter for epilogue? You can count them on one hand, and zero for WSJ.

take a look at the old thread series is doing well enough, it even got a new tv ad the past weeks, they wouldn't be bothering with spending in that shit if it was canceled.

>How many series have more than one chapter for epilogue? You can count them on one hand, and zero for WSJ.
Sesuji had four chapters just a few months ago.

>I'm just saying you're retarded because you are
I just started posting and say you sperging out.

>How many series have more than one chapter for epilogue?
They announce when a series is ending. Every time. No anouncement means that next chapter isn't the last. For someone who pretends to understand hw this magazine works your pretty bad at remembering this obvious fact.

It could be switching magazines, going monthly would be better for the mangaka.

They already can if you hit them in the head in the right place.
