Your Lie In April

What illness did she have? Google says that it was Friedreich's ataxia, but I feel more like it was supposed to just be some kind of ambiguous fictional illness, because specific details like this didn't really matter and would detract from the point.

It's called Clanaids, a disease that cause, suffering, tragedy and death in a plot convenient way maximizing the emotional impact on shit-eaters.

edgy

It was a slow-acting Japanese cold. Truly a tragic disease.

You sound upset.
Is it because you are dead inside and now hate everyone else who can still experience emotions?

Plot

Her illness is called forced tear-porn where it had nothing to do with the plot nor foreshadowed or even hinted but came out of nowhere to make viewers feel oh-so sad

I think you have a mild case of being a retard.

>it had nothing to do with the plot nor foreshadowed or even hinted
Imagine being this delusional.

Garbage show.
Fuck off.

What's your favorite show, user?

Not Shigatsu , that's for sure.

Yeah, you already said that.

Are you struggling with the question?

Fuck off back to MAL newshits.

For how many hours did you cry user?

Oh boy, it's a whiny autists take over the thread episode.

More like it's another "newfag so fresh from r/anime he wasn't there when it aired" episode

>newfag
Imagine unironically terms like this and thinking "I am living my life in a way that is satisfying and fulfilling".

I'm pretty sure whiny autists made the thread user.

>unironically terms
unironically using terms*

>Talk about a show in Sup Forums
>healthy and productive discussion about the pros and cons of the show

>Talk about a show in Sup Forums
>autistic screeching

Stay there and never come back then.

No, I like coming here to watch the autists play in the mud.

Then shut your mouth and watch.

But if I don't talk, they won't dance for me.

It's called having standards and experience in fiction so contrived drama makes you laugh instead of hitting you right in dem feelz.

Well initiate a discussion then. But since you did ask for the name of the disease it's worth mentioning how little the writer gave a damn to not even researching for an actual disease.

Oh yeah?
What is an anime that really moved you?

was looking through MAL top rated list, this was pretty overrated, what causes a person to rate this (or worse yet, anohana) as a 9 or 10?

Certainly not shigatsu or kimi no na wa.

...

I like how you're too embarrassed to actually answer the question. Top fuckin kek.

That was a good answer user.
I'm sure if you bash more popular titles your crippling insecurity and lack of any connection to any other human will stay well hidden.

>post on /wsr/ asking for an anime that really moved you
>first response is Your Lie In April
Really makes you think.

Because only shitters use that board.

Amazing

Getting hit in dem feelz obviously. The score you give a show is directly proportional to the amount of emotional impact an anime has on you.

>embarrassment
>on an anonymous image board

My favorite anime is one of the most popular anime ever made. I value or bash shows based on quality alone.

I dunno, seems more like the shitters are here.

For example, you can't seem to be capable of drawing a distinction between "whining" and "discussion".

You still haven't answered the question.

>My favorite anime is one of the most popular anime ever made.
What is it then?

>MAL shitters begging for recommendations since their favorite anime gets shat on

I have no problem telling you if you tell me what difference will it make to the shigatsu discussion.

I'm not looking for recommendations. I'm curious about what your favorite anime is so I can laugh at you.

Your Lie In April also isn't my favorite anime. Not even close.

Why do you keep making things up to suit your worldview? You do understand that your preferences in media consumption don't actually relate to how smart or superior you are, right?

This is not about Shigatsu.
This a personal attack on you.
I'm forced to just ad hominem your shitty opinion away because you never presented an argument I could attack instead.

>the shigatsu discussion.
There is no shigatsu discussion. Lots of crying and autism, though.

>finding trashy melodrama shitshows sad
you're the problem newfag

Has this board squeezed all feeling out of your husk user?

The part about shigatus haring a plot convenient disease is not a good enough argument to attack?

The pro-shigatsu mal users were the ones that turned it into that.

if you want to watch a sad show watch something actually tragic like texhnolyze or kaiba
shitty melodrama like your lie in april and anohana are only popular because feelsfags tear up at the slightest thing

How is that an argument?
It's not plot convenient. It is the plot.

I don't understand your problem.
Or were you so stupid it actually blindsided you? There was foreshadowing for it all over the place. It didn't even try to hide it.

Do you hate them because they still have feelings user?
Or do you hate yourself because you don't?

fpbp

>muh feels
Kill yourself.

>a plot convenient disease
what does this even mean? literally half of the show is about Kaori and her illness. it's not something the writers pulled out of thin air to help keep things moving, it was an integral part of the story from the very start.

>taking pride in being an autismo who can't feel emotions
lmao

Imaginary disease that works in ways that hit the exact story beats needed in what is supposed to be a very grounded show is plot convenience.

That is literally what it's there for?
How is this a problem?
The story is not about the disease, it's about the reactions to it.

I don't even understand your issue with this.

>retarded false dichotomy
no I hate it because it's shit
do you like terrible shows because you hate yourself or are you just too stupid to know better?

>Imaginary disease that works in ways that hit the exact story
What exactly are you talking about? All that matters to the plot is that it's a disease that will kill her.
> is plot convenience.
You can't say that a major plot point of the show is plot convenience, that's just stupid. That'd be like saying that the ring corrupting everyone that wears it, hence why Frodo must be the bearer, is plot convenience.

That's not a reason to hate something.
Your visceral reaction to it says it got under your skin.
At least it proves you can still feel something, even if it's only anger.

Look at these autist attacking me instead of trying to prove me wrong

It's a little hard to prove you wrong when you do it yourself in your own post.

It make the whole thing contrived. She dies because dying is sad and not because it would make anyone's character arc better or serve a thematic purpose.

Lotr is a fantasy adventure not a down to earth drama.

Yes dying is sad.
Dealing with death is the entire point of the whole show.
Like holy shit, do you not even draw the parallels between his mother and her?
It is his entire character arc. Did you just watch clips of this on youtube and then read a summary? Or are you just retarded?

Her dying is kind of the whole point of her character.
The thematic purpose of her death is having another loved one of the MC dying off. The difference is that this time he keeps going forward and doesn't get a trauma with the piano, which showcases the development he had throughout the show, all thanks to that girl.

user I think we should just give up.
The guy you're replying to has no brain.

>She dies because dying is sad and not because it would make anyone's character arc better
it made Kousei's character arc better. in fact, it was a pivotal moment in his development. are you slow?

>My favorite anime is one of the most popular anime ever made
>he likes Naruto

Look at this baby.

I'm glad Sup Forumsnons still have some semblance of taste.
