It's pretty much guranteed that they'll split up for 1-3 volumes and get back together in the end.
I read to much of this kind of trash but this is one of the few where the author doesn't give a bone but only spit on the reader's faces.

It's one of those things where a game is too elaborate to get a proper adaptation, so you just get a weird spinoff abortion that fans will probably find mildly diverting.

Seems to be aimed more toward people familiar with the VN than secondaries. If you insist on watching anyway there's a translation of the common route that could at least add a bit of context.
