Depends on the source resolution.

>720p

What is this, 2007?

720p is the broadcast resolution, correct? TV doesn't broadcast in 1080p, just 720p and 1080i. Unless there is something else at play I'm missing. BD's are 1080p so that's not a factor.

Is all 1080p broadcast anime upscaled?

I started downloading 1080p after noticed in one anime, I think it was some mecha show, that action scenes had terribly low bitrate to the point it was making artifacts in 720p release.

Pleb. 480p or nothing.

99.9%

360p is a true connoisseurs choice

I usually go for 720, its goods enough and saves time and space.

720p for anime series.
1080p for movies and ovas.

360p .rmvb files

Just download 1080p everything regardless so you don't have to worry about it.
It takes literally 2 extra seconds to download if you don't have 3rd world nigger internet.
The space is irrelevant, just delete shows after they finish airing, not like I'm going to rewatch anything at least until long after the BDs are out anyway.

I stream anime via my phone.

>60 fps anime

I unironically watch anime in 360p, sometimes 480p, because my bandwidth limit would be reached within a few days if i watched anime in HD or Full HD

These 2 are correct. The answer is that it depends on the source resolution, but most of them are 720p anyway.

720p, unless its natively 1080p. Fuck upscales.

Download 720p and upscale it myself

HITLER

My 144hz monitor makes anime look jaggy if it's not set to 60hz and I'm too lazy to turn it back and forth so I just setttle for 48-60fps via SVP and call it a day.

720 always

240p is for the thinking man

720p is the most consistent
1080p is for BDs

1080p.
