And the manga is less, "good" and more "interesting"

Admittedly it gets less good the further it gets becoming less slice-of-life with science-fiction elements and more whacky science-fiction with occasional slice-of-life elements. But since the anime was adapting the earlier parts there was no excuse for China to fuck it as hard as they did. Thanks to them we'll never see this in full anime style and color.
