Out of curiosity, why do you guys who have a bunch of figures use cases, detolfs, ect.?

Personally I don't think I'd ever want a shelf. I think its nice to have my desk full of stuff. I know it'll sound autistic but I'd feel bad for caging my figures.

Then again, I don't have a crazy amount of stuff, just 5 1/7th scales, 2 figmas, and some other smaller figures. Is it just a space issue?

I keep them out on whatever this thing is called from IKEA. I'd figure most people don't do what you do because:

1. You gotta do more maintenance
2. You risk damaging them a bit more
3. It might not look as good aesthetically

I don't want to damage them, it helps in keeping them clean and I can easily/nicely bunch shows and characters together. In saying, I keep 3 nendos on my desk.

I don't have enough to warrant a detolf yet, but even though the comfier feel is having them on the shelf above my desk, it's easier to keep them clean and organized in one.
as it stands they're all kind of cluttered together and not in any particular order which triggers my autism.

i never thought i'd need more than two shelves for figures, but i recently bought my second detolf. Well first detolf, i bought the klingsbo first.
I dont display them on shelves anymore because my friends dropped my first figure alot back when i started.

I used to have some figures on my desk, and aside from realizing how cluttered it looked I couldn't wouldn't be able to fit everything on my desk anymore anyways. Unfortunately Aquas fat head wont fit into my detolf so I have to display her and Megameme out in the open until I figure something else out.

They are the manufacturer with the most re-releases by far.

All they do different is release their figures in multiple waves, preorders go up in the same way. And often than not the figures are sold out multiple times during the preorder period.
