I don't really want a continuiation that follows the manga. The story turns to complete melodramatic shit from where the anime ends. Shigure'a character becoming an irredeemable ass in the manga is just unforgivable.
Anime is the only canon.

The beach arc was so cute though, I wish the anime would have at least covered that.
I never liked Shigure that much, or more like I didn’t really care about him, so I can’t say anything in that regard. But yeah in the second half of the manga the story dragged on a little and I found the mangaka’s urge to pair everyone up with someone really fucking annoying, I could definitely do without most of the secondary pairings and their angst/drama.
