This is a really good manga and I simply would like more people to read it. I'm going to dump the first volume today, the second tomorrow, and then the unbound chapters the day after. Only volume 1 and the first 2 chapters of volume 2 have been translated, so everything after that is gonna be raw.

It's sad to see fantastic art, paneling, pacing and concept designs be wasted on such an unoriginal premise.

I think that although the premise seems very basic the execution makes up for it.
I like what's revealed about magic in chapter 1, for instance, and the motivations of pretty much the entire cast are quite unusual I feel (especially the witch who is introduced in chapter 1)
When antagonists are introduced as well, it's somewhat questionable how "antagonistic" they actually are.

This was considered so dangerous that it was decided history would be erased and memories wiped so that only a select few could be allowed to use it. There are many dangerous spells, after all.
