I miss him

What do you think he is doing right now? Does he draw backgrounds now? What if he comes back with another manga? Would you read it?

He's gonna be attending a convention in Italy next month: luccacomicsandgames.com/it/2017/comics/ospiti/tite-kubo/

he doesn't draw anything. He's fucked up his arm really bad.

I'm waiting for that zombie powder sequel you lousy hack

He drew some sketches for those Bleach novels that came out after the finale ended. Plus, he'll be sketching a special Bleach chapter for the upcoming Live Action movie.

>he'll be sketching a special Bleach chapter for the upcoming Live Action movie.
I wonder what it'll be.
First chapter redrawn?
Reboot chapter?

Zombie Powder's dead, Jim.

>zombie
>dead
what did you mean by this

funnily enough, he should have enough money by now that he could draw it for fun
doubt he will do it though

finding something else thats horrible for people to drink

drawing background when bleach literally has no background

He's waiting till he has some motivation since he doesn't want to be contractually obligated to draw.

>Does he draw backgrounds now?
I know that when Kubo ends up in hell he will spend eternity drawing backgrounds for other mangaka.

ITT: Memes that were never funny

>I know that when Kubo ends up in hell he will spend eternity cursing other mangaka with his evil influence
Fixed

t. newfag

They weren't funny in 2009 either

I hope he’s doing fashion

they were, actually

Sure, if you were 12.

nah

Sad desu ne

In hindsight the only good part of his manga was the Soul Society arc. I regret reading it till the end.

eh, parts of Hueco Mundo were good; Nnoitra, the conclusion of Ichigo and Nnoitras rivalry, the Grimmjow final bout, even the beta-test Espada (I forget what they were officially called) were ok as tragic figures.

Maybe he's helping on the Brave Souls mobage?

>Does he draw backgrounds now?

You know that Mangaka seldom draw backgrounds right? Drawing backgrounds is the job of the assistents. Kubo deliberately tells them to not minimize backgrounds because of his own preference.

>Soul Society arc
Sure if you have no taste.
Everyone knows the best one was substitute shinigami.
Once the shitty captains were introduced the series was ruined.

>Ichigo and Nnoitras rivalry
huh?

this

Oops, meant Ulquiorra

>it was good until SS meme
>what is espada, aizen, old man genocide and ywhach
Shit taste.

>espada
Rehashed and worse captains
>aizen
A fun meme and good as an unreachable adversarity but since even that gets undercut, its ends up with none of Aizen being good.
>old mana genocide
Yamamoto? Cool bankai but really only stood out because he was amidst a ridiculously bad arc
>Ywhach
bad in every way

replace espada with Gigi, Bambi, Riruka, Askin and Mask D Masculine and I agree.

Espada were more hit than miss.

Aizen was a delight because of his trollishness but that affected me taking him as a serious villain.

And Shitler can go back from whence he came

Oh and Nel

>he sacrificed his arm

And people say Bleach isn't poetry

>Mayuri killed his arm

I just hope he is getting involved in a new Bleach anime project following what he actually wanted to do before WSJ fucked him over.

>Aizen was a delight because of his trollishness
I don't get why people say this when Yhwach was a far more effective troll over all.
Literally nothing Aizen did could've ever topped the glorious Ichigo bankai moment.

Is there a female character that people like for reasons more than them tingling their dingle?

I think that's one of the top moments in the manga besides the whole axe-ing portion being utter garbage.

sugoi

It's amazing how Bankai went from "trump cards" to "barely better upgrade from Shikai" in the same arc they were introduced in.

He had his moments.

>"barely better upgrade from Shikai"
The only ones that were like that were the ones introduced early on like Byakuya's, Hitsugay's, Komamura's and Renji's.
Many introduced later took a neat spin on motifs like Soi-fon's stinger missile and Yama's cremated corpses.

It was a constant decline overall from a good start, with a few good pieces added randomly that were then almost forgotten with the next new thing.

Yhwach technically had troll moments, but they all came across as empty and meaningless because Ywhach was just set up as being able to do literally anything. Aizen was overpowered, sure, but he was very understandable in what he could and couldn't do. Aizen's big moments are stuff like revealing his true shikai is illusions, he faked his own death, and he's powerful enough to stop Ichigo's bankai sword with his fingertip.
Ywhach's were "I hit my omnipotent 'I win' button and won".
Ichigo's bankai getting broken unceremoniously was a shitstorm, sure, but I'll take literally any of Aizen's moments over that.

>now imagining Ichigo as a cute girl
Why didn't Kubo just go with that in the first place?

Hell Yeah I would read it. When this man isn't trolling or trying to come up with ways to fuck over his own story it gets pretty fucking awesome

>He even has the name of a cute girl
Now that's what I call wasted potential

>but he was very understandable in what he could and couldn't do
but the story treated him as omnipotent till he was defeated.
At least with Yhwach it became self aware about it.

>Wanted a Joseph Joestar moment from Yhwach
>Never got it
God fucking damn it Kubo

Taking a long vacation and spending time with his wife. He probably has a kid now too.

A hack, through and through.

Ywach could do anything because he was Bleach's version of YHWH, the covenant God of Israel. The defeat was supposed to show that he's merely the Jewish interpretation of God, not the all powerful and all knowing Christian interpretation of God.

>The defeat was supposed to show that he's merely the Jewish interpretation of God, not the all powerful and all knowing Christian interpretation of God.
Doesn't every abrahamic faith depict god as absolute?

No, the Abrahamic Faith acknowledges that other gods exist, but they will just trick people into making fools of themselves. YHWH is the only one who would give you salvation if you follow his rules.

But yhwach lost on purpose, he even saved the shinigami by killing his subordinates and even went easy on them in the final battle.

The novel unintentionally made Ywach look good because he was trying to put the Soul King and Ichigo out of their misery, so that they don't get exploited by the Soul Society to keep the old system going.

That wasn't really Kubos fault. After the series got popular WSJ wanted to milk it for what it was worth. The original idea was

>Uruhara is the big bad. Used Ichigo to infiltrate SS
>Aizen was a good guy, got killed for real.

Incredible how so many Christfags don't know these things.

Why should we care about Soul Society? It deserves to be burned down to the ground.

>got killed for real
Would be better if he's the good guy but does the fake death thing to fuck Urahara over

To be fair, preachers only Baal and the Moloch. Unfortunately, they think abortion is some sort of pyramid scheme constructed by the government to hid their worship of the Moloch.

It should burn, just because there are questionable methods and motives doesn't mean the result would be bad.

He's just a hack, his editors had no control over him after the early stages, that's why the aizen villain reveal was good, it came out of nowhere.
>can't come up with a plot so make dozens of new characters
>change a plot line at the last minute

>because he was trying to put the Soul King and Ichigo out of their misery
No he avoided having to fight or kill Ichigo as much as possible because it was needless death.
He'll only kill quincy because they provide nourishment and shinigami because they're all faggots beyond reason.
He only decided to actually kill Ichigo when he realized Ichigo was also a faggot beyond reason.

This. People always hype up Soul Society arc but I still find more enjoyment in the Substitute Shinigami arc. It may have been shonen-y slice of life combined with "monster of the week" with the Hollows, but it sure as hell beats non-stop battle royales with a new cast of characters every new arc.

>it came out of nowhere.
How does that make it good then?

If you don't know it was unplanned, it makes it seem like more thought went into plot twists. When you realize it was out of nowhere, it just tells you they had no idea what they were doing, and trying to look for deeper meaning is pointless.

Why didn't Ywach create a future in which Ichigo was a girl right then? Would have sold so many figurines.

he deserves nothing less

Naruto >> Bleach >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> one piss

Rude.

What's the deal with him? I've seen replies implying he sabotaged his own manga or something like that? I stopped reading Bleach the first time Aizen was defeated, so I'm not sure what shit show I missed.

>implying he sabotaged his own manga or something like that?
He knowingly chose the ending he knew would infuriate the highest number of people and given the fact that he probably regrets making the series and becoming so despised by pretty much everyone including his publishers, I can see why he'd retaliate.
He killed two birds with one stone by throwing the bird to both Jump and the readerbase.

Just a classic example of a good artist who got lucky with writing an arc, then got exposed as a hack as he kept writing.

Orihime won the Ichibowl and Rukia ended up with Renji. The IchiRuki community blew up and made up baseless rumors that Kubo made IchiHime and RenRuki canon to sabotage his own manga to get back at his publishers.

Bleach live action film...
What is the point? Is there really an audience for it anymore?
Have they released any images of characters other than ichigo? Where the hell are theygoing to find Japanese people shaped like Chad and Orihime?

>Where the hell are theygoing to find Japanese people shaped like Chad and Orihime?
IIRC it was mentioned its going to be an original story based on the first arc meaning everyone but Rukia might just get omitted to fit the runtime.
Also japan occasionally has foreign actors take up roles so it's not implausible for them to get their hands on some mexican to play Chad if he were to be included.

Hitsugaya spin off

does any other mangaka look even half as cool as him?

The mobage just hit 25 million downloads, I don't see the movie flopping unless some scandal happens.

Bleach was fun all the way so of course. I read other shonen because I feel obligatedto read them(I'm not going to drop One Piece when I'm 800 chapters in) but Kubo's ride was fun

>The mobage just hit 25 million downloads
>yfw bleach becomes the next type moon and the mobage becomes more popular than the actual manga ever was

i don't really come to these threads but
who even got bleach place in the big 3?

Boku no Hero since BC is designated as Neo Naruto

The mobage is actually pretty good though

Speaking of mobage, how's the line game doing?

They just released Halloween characters: twitter.com/LINE_BLEACH_JP

>Mods still allow these threads
Aren't they even bigger faggots than bleachfags themselves?

Ichigo just want to protect his friends. He's doesn't really have the ambition to change the status quo like Naruto, or challenge the gods like Goku and Frieza

>He's doesn't really have the ambition to change the status quo
That's why all the villains pointed out how they're better people than he is

>challenge the gods like Goku and Frieza
He's a fightfag like Goku too but he doesn't want it to show.
He's also cowardly since he can't deal with defeat.

Changing the status quo in Bleach gets you either life in prison, or death. Soul Society is a legit feudal system where the nobles have the power to get away with anything. The Gotei 13 are just the bottom of the barrel.

>The Gotei 13 are just the bottom of the barrel.
I thought during the feudal age samurai were pretty high up on the hierarchy as well?
I know they were prone to being manipulated by higher ups but still

Ichigo showing that he loves to fight would result in his hollow side taking over and turning him into a mindless beast acting on instinct. He's protect Orihime, but treat everyone else as competition for rights to mate with her.

Man, if the Bleach anime ever returns I hope they'll keep their IR faggotry to themselves.

The moment your lord fucked up you got fucked up along with him. Masterless Samurai can't go to another master and can't be farmers or merchants.
