But as soon as he learned the truth about his power he's been much more chill around deku what are you talking about? He always just hated Deku because he thought of Deku as a loser and hated him because he didn't just accept that he was trash and actually still wanted to be a hero which Bakugou saw as an insult to him. After their most recent fight he doesn't seem to be as buttmad about it now since he can accept deku wanting to be a hero now because of his great quirk. He doesn't seem mad at all that deku just got this power now.

I didn't said he was mad, I said he has a legit reason to have a grudge against Deku. And he had even a better reason between the start of the first year and their last confrontation. Don't forget that Bakugou not only has a terrible personality, but is also smart, hardworking and talented, so when out of the blue Deku's getting all that incredible power without, let's be honest here, doing all that much, it's easy to get why Bakugou would feel annoyed by that and even threatened.
