This should be canon.
I can agree with that, except for the part where Cell pathetically jobs to Pikkon
DBZ had some really good filler which is interesting considering the episodes themselves were notorious for being filled with unnecessary scenes and reactions.
...
Well hey Pikkon has been training for many years in otherworld him outclassing Cell is fine.
Good shit actually.
...
As infamously bad as narutos filler is i appreciate their attempts to flesh out the war arc
Seing these guys again plus the seven swordsman and the small spot light they put on minor characters were cool
you call this good?
He was holding back
i really enjoyed that episode
Pikkon was ssj2 level, so it's not that surprising. Plus, it was a surprise attack.
Implying he needed to go full ss for the ginyu force
Does this count?
That was movie it not even filler good movie though
I like the part where Gohan tortures that dinosaur by chopping off a new piece of it every day
Good fuck that trex he ate gohans freind
no
Zanpakuto Rebellion Arc>Bount Arc>Amagai Arc>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Reigai/OC DONUT STEEL Arc
Goku and Chichi's wedding dress fetch quest right after he defeats Piccolo in th tournament was unexpectedly fun.
bount arc had such a fucking comfy start
Why did they give a filler character such an awesome theme song?
Yes motha fucka. Goku fighting old enemies is good. And Pikkon being a beast.
Pikkon>>>>>> Hit
Prove me wrong
An user of taste has been spotted
post the pikkon-pepe pic
stupid fucking "transformation".
Like we didn't have a bajillion SSJ forms already so let's make a bunch of pointless retarded "forms" that no one likes and that will never be used more than once.
Hit is basically a reimagined Pikkon when you think about it.
also "lol the way ki/power level/super saiyan logic works is already confusing and retarded, so now let's pull shit like *this* to make it even more so"
Toei is CANCER
but they make Super that is good to watch every sunday so I'll let them of the hook for now
Bullshit, considering Pikkon did nothing when Goku and Vegeta arrived on Land of the Kais to fight Buu, but was too scared to risk his existence.
He got his ass kicked by buu when he went to other world
Came to post this
Zanpakutou arc in Bleach
Oh, it's been posted
I'm pretty sure 3 SSj2 level fighters would have been more than enough for shota Buu to handle at once.
Not when they can be killed. Plus he's stronger than ssj2. That would be like having 7 Hercules attacking Raddiz.
How does even work when Vegito is just SSJ2 tier and yet he whiped the floor with him? This series powerlevel scaling makes no fucking sense.
>Vegito is just SSJ2 tier
pardon?
He's two SSJ2 tier combined.
Your math is wrong.
Plus wasn't Kid Buu stronger than Buu somehow? That shit made no sense yeaj
Kid is stronger than fat Buu 'cause he's a fat fuck who doesn't know how to fight, slim Buu is stronger than kid
Kid Buu was the most evil, and the strongest if you only count pure Buu forms, otherwise Buuhan would be the strongest form
Super Buu was totally stronger man, Goku was confident he could beat Kid Buu with SSJ3, but he was scared shitless at the idea of fighting Super Buu after rescuing the dudes that got absorbed
Vegito only ssj2?
Ummm. Dude, Goku has the power of ss3 with Vegeta's ssj2 and fusion multiplies that massively. Come on dude.
>implying Goku uses SSJ2 "in" Vegito
Are you retarded? They have to be the same level
Goku is holding back
And Vegito doesn't even go SSJ2... He's just an ascended Super Saiyan.
Transformations were a mistake.
People need to realize that SSJ2 and 3 are merely power ups
>They have to be the same level
No, that rule applies to fusion dance not to potara, or are you trying to say that Kibito and Shin were on the same level? Or even worse, that the previous Kaioshin and the old lady were on the same level?
Kid & Skinny are the same.
Kid Buu naturally is about BuuTanks level. Even when he was reverting to kid he became stronger as buff. That was his own power.
The kais are in fat buu who was detached. And like Gohan and the others once detached he CANT gain power from them anymore.
Plus his mind when absorbing people held him back from full power. Hess why goku couldnt stop Planet Burst.
But Pikkon is SSJ2 tier, so what
Thank you.
SSj are just power multipliers.
SSJ= Base 50x
SSJ2=SSJ 2x
SSJ3=SSJ 4x
SSJ=SSJ 8x
I dunno what SSG or SSB is
>SSJ=SSJ 8x
wat
Outside of the stupid green haired girl literally going "baka hentai" nonstop for the entire arc, the clone wars arc was pretty good. The animation was at it's peak and the matchups were fanservice at its best.
>Super Buu was totally stronge
I used to think this, and it definitely makes the most sense, but there is a scene where Kibito-Kai and Elder Kai explain that absorbing the Grand Supreme Kai drastically lowered Buu's power, making him stronger than either Fat or Super Buu.
But that only made him weaker because of his gentle nature that rubbed off on fat Buu, no? Super Buu was over that
Agreed.
The wording is kind of ambiguous, especially depending on which translation you're looking at, but they definitely mention his actual power going down as a result of absorbing the Grand Supreme Kai, in addition to saying that his nature changed to make him more docile. Also, as far as I know, just about every guidebook and such released since has reaffirmed that explanation, saying that Kid Buu is the most powerful of the three main forms of Buu.
Personally I think it was just a last-minute excuse to raise the stakes for the final fight. All the evidence up to that point would indicate that Super Buu was stronger, and logically that makes the most sense too, but the official story is that Kid is stronger.
What for? Even One Piece has a good filler arc, G8
It's complicated. But good.
>I dunno what SSG or SSB is
5 times for SSG? Rage Vegeta was at 10% of Beerus power, and SSG=60% Beerus.
Of course, since Toyoshit, Beerus was holding back a lot, and not even full power SSB come close to match Beerus, despise Whis saying that Goku and Vegeta could take him down.
Also the Karakuraizer arcs, had me giggling every time.
>And Vegito doesn't even go SSJ2... He's just an ascended Super Saiyan.
I thought SSJ2 was an ascended Super Saiyan.
Nope that's grade 2 & 3.
Ssj2 is another level all together.
I didn't know that was filler, what else was?
>dat scene when she trades cosmo blasts with athena.
>wedding dress saga
>Gohan birthday episode
>Little shit like kiss in kame house and in the hospital.
>That episode in Dragon Ball when Goku sees her as a kid again
>That flashback in the Buu saga to them training as kids
I just like Chichi getting nice episodes
There are much, much better filler episodes in Naruto.
There's a lot of filler in SS, but the Asgard saga itself was totally filler. It was based on a few manga chapters focused solely on Hyoga. This "saga" is called "Blue Warriors" in the manga.
It's complicated. There was a side-story in the manga called "Natasha in the Ice Country" (also called Blue Warriors). This was a Hyoga solo story. The movie "Battle of the Gods" was based on this saga. The movie had a good reception, so they based the Asgard Saga on it.
>G8
Fuck you now I have to watch it again.
Didn't know Naruto had a filler where Tobi slaughtered the canadian police.
Agree, Pikkon should have been canon.
Agree. Bleach had horrible shitty filler, but I do like they at least acknowledged the bount arc later in the series. But the sword rebellion arc should have been canon because what we got later was total shit. At least the rebellion arc was more imaginative and engaging.
100% agreed.
I liked that the anime made the Davy Back Fight longer.
It wasn't. The power scaling made no sense. Pikkon one shots perfect cell but loses to Goku who was weaker than perfect cell
SSJ: 50x
SSJ2: 100x
SSJ3: 300x
SSJG: 500x
SSJB: 750x
Rainbow mist and Memory loss are great too mate
>She did one for him
Never noticed that detail, my gosh the suddent feels.
Ichigo was right Zangetsu was the only one that never betrayed his shinigami
Si.
Bount arc
Bount arc was better
Those weren't filler those were in the manga
one piece should have more filler and less padding.
The filler was objectively better than anything Post-SS Bleach
Even the faggy princess arc was better than shit like Arrancar or utter garbage like FKT
I miss how innocent Goku used to be
ha HAHAHAAHAH
Now this was a shit arc
The only good thing about it was Hotaru's Hotarus
Robin actually acting like someone that spent years working for an espionage group was a godsend, fuck why can't more fillers try to do shit like that?
Kariya >>>> Aizen
Stay mad Kubofag
>only one mention of G8
it's better than most of canon stuff which is crazy
...
> SS2 level
> has to go all out against SS Goku, who was still weaker than his son at SS1
that scene was only there to hype up Paikuhan
it would've made more sense, if Goku had prep time for the Tournament, so that he could get stronger and achieve SS2 while fighting him.
By ring out
To an attack that blew perfect cells head off
After dominating goku the second half of the fight after they got serious
The scalling makes perfect sense
Blame fans and Toriyama for their obsession with canon. One thing that original anime and even GT did right was have the characters grow.
about 70% of gintamas fillers are good
JAPANESE STYLE
That shit had great fillers. The best in the industry.
>Blame fans and Toriyama for their obsession for Goku actually being in-character
Best episode
