The OPs and EDs.
Also, Asuna is really attractive.

*Asuna is somewhat attractive.

Argo
Yuki/zekken
Klien
Alice
Eugo
ost was good too

shinons ass.

Smug Asuna by Strangestone.

It has the word Sword in it and that's the only good thing.

Sinon. I love her design. Such a cool outfit.

Eugeo

Sinon, Argo, Yuuki, Klein, Eugeo, Alice, the entire Alicization Arc, Progressive, Kiriko, the movie, Suguha's tits, ect.

Kirito and Asuna at the cabin in the first season

I hope you retards enjoy being wrong

It was a fantastic unintentional comedy.

Had a cool concept back then and was pretty. The mc is the right protagonist for the series considering for it's audience of mostly teenage boys and new watchers of anime.

the gameverse canon

>Mother's Basement

Swords.

Yuki Kajiura and Yuki (Zekken)

The premise was neat, if it had kept darker tone of the beginning and not become a haremshitshow for preteens it would've been cool.

Read Progressive. He's much better at writing now, and I'm loving the hell out of it. Introduces Kizmel, too.
There ya go, OP. Kizmel.

smug asuna

Klein, Agil, that's it

>read

Ugh.

edgy Asuna was much better, now she just acts like Kazuto's well mannered housewife, their relationship became boring after the first season

It'll probably get an anime once Kawahara realizes he won't finish it within his lifetime at the current rate of 1 floor per volume, 1 volume per year, and he starts releasing multiple volumes a year.

The soundtrack overall was really well composed.

Good call.
youtube.com/watch?v=17Zz7cXdVXs

He'll go full Toriyama and have someone else write it for him.

the plot is good. not a masterpiece, but good

haters can suck a dick

What is this, a smug Asuna for ants?

the NTR doujins

Thanks to SAO normalchads like me can enjoy anime without looking like a fucking weeb.

Its everything you want anime to be when youre 14 years old, which is probably when we all watched it

Not him, but have this one.

THIS

>Yuki Kajiura
This

Underused track :(

Just look at those well defined asscheeks.

too soon

I'm sure even you can admit the Excalibur arc in SAO 2 was fucking terrible.

glop

It looked like it might be okay for a few episodes

The 1 volume per year thing is a function of him writing SAO, Accel World, and Isolator at the same time, while supervising the GGO spin off, the various manga spin offs, writing the script for Ordinal Scale, and miscellaneous other stuff like anything he might contribute to the games, attending some conventions, any meetings he had to attend to get the Alicization anime, etc. As time passes, the non-writing obligations will reach their conclusions and he'll have more time for writing. Then he'll finish SAO and AW, and be able to prioritize Progressive.

I love the art for this series.

It's over.

best girl.

Kirito's swords are simple in design, but easily memorable. His euclidator is a good black sword, while the blue one was a pretty cool design made from a dragon's scale or something. Hell, most weapons in the games looked nice.

So will Progressive still follow the same overall story as the original series or will it be an AU where author isn't a retard and shows us all the floors?

>dragon's scale
It was actually dragon shit. Not kidding. It's literally made out of a dragon's refuse. The metal ingot is formed within that monster's body, which it then left in it's pit as droppings.
It's a badass Shit Stick.

The latter. It's already diverged from the original by a fair bit in that Kirito and Asuna are working together from the first floor, whereas previously they were supposed to have first met around the middle levels.

Yeah, a bunch of swords that Kirito ends up with (that have any significant background or story coverage) have so far been made out of things you don't exactly want in a sword, and only make sense because of the game setting. Dragon shit, a tree branch, and an ice block + a flower.

Yeah but will we still get the Kirito vs Hesthcliff fight at Floor 75 or we will see everything up to Floor 100?

It'll probably still follow the original canon as closely as possible, with some retcons here or there. So it'll probably end at Floor 74 or something, and expect you to know the rest from Vol 1 of the main series, and that's assuming it doesn't end between maybe Floor 10 or 25, when Asuna and Kirito split off so that previous stories still make some sense.

Premise.

>tfw an abridged series of SAO is the only anime that has made me tear up

Here's to hoping you two are right.

The endless potential of those two years in aincrad deserves better

...

The premise, GGO LN, Manga by Tawawa author. Also the abridged series.

>e-celebs

Saged, reported, hidden.

...

The Black Swordsman.

Sinon's blond friend, Kyouji

I've masturbated so many times at the idea of her mmorpg friend finally snapping and raping her.

There is a severe lack of Asada x Kyoji hentai.

Also, Kirito's sister.

This is like assuming Kawahara will have unlimited youth and energy until the day before he dies from old age.

The man's 43 and I'm sure he'll be slowing down in another decade, and I can't see all of his current projects winding down any time soon because of Kadokawa/Aniplex/Bandai Namco prodding him every waking moment. I want to be hopeful but I don't think he'll ever finish Progressive unless VR acceleration gets invented within the next 20 years.

The first chapter, then it all goes to shit.

Eugeo

I also love konnosooba.

I like sinon. She's only female character with understandable motivation in SAO.But author made her irrelevant just like all characters beside Asuna and Asuna is one of the most bland characters in this industry.

Kirito is a decent protagonist that is nowhere near as bad as he gets memed as

The fact that he gets a big ass sword at the end of the movie and just starts wrecking floor bosses left and right.

Nobody begs for likes anymore. It's all about that patreon money now.

The story is at least focused and short.
The romantic subplot comes doesn't jerk us around for 6 seasons.
Everything else is shit though.

What are you talking about, SAO was pretty great. Sure it had some rough patches and felt a little rushed at times, but it was a pretty solid anime. If only they had made another season, or at least more than 14 episodes, maybe continued it in another game outside of Aincrad or something. Surely that would've been just as good.
Surely.

>The Black Swordsman.
And not the blacked (& NTR'D) swordsman

Abridged.

The Fairy Dance Arc is good though. Or at least better than the trash aincrad arc. Progressive is the only way that arc is good.

The first 15 chapters were good. Too bad SAO is literally the only thing in japan that it is not stretched out. Would have loved 25 chapters or 50 about Aincrad.

Also, abriged version is hilarious, just finished this week

The main character is an alpha which is great because I can't relate to non-harem having, shit at videogames pansies.

The true Black Swordsman and not a cuck.

The art and Klein's guild

Silica is cute cute!

>Lisbeth
Yeah, she was best girl

He'll still never be as good as the real Black Swordsman.

Silica in bra and panties.

YES.

She's a kid

This cardboard is supposed to be attractive?

If a sword of ice and a sword of darkness would collide in space, what would happen?

Best girl, no debate.

It'll take 75 years to get there at this rate.

If this thread is about the anime, I guess it's the visuals and the soundtrack. Not only did the world look pretty good, but also, the characters' outfits, the way they moved and the general atmosphere was pretty good. There was also the lovely soundtrack backing the whole thing up.
Honestly, the story might've not been the best thing you've ever seen, but the anime itself is not shit in terms of production values.
Kawahara gets his shit together later on in the novels; they're amazing. Not only do they have more substance - Alicization lasts for nine volumes, compared to Aincrad's measly two, but it's also more entertaining, without sacrificing quality.
>that unneeded spacing
>ugh
You can eat a dick.

Why are you so mad

Progressive is really fun.

>Would have loved 25 chapters or 50 about Aincrad.
Progressive.
