You want to make a living doing a high school student's part time job.
Grow the fuck up.

My abode accounts for at least 50% of my monthly earnings. So what.

>average rent.
i dont live in a shit city and my mortgage is less than 800$ a month on a brand new house, make less than 30.77 and hour and still have 1000$ left over living a simple life.

>average

What does the average household rent have to do with an individuals hourly pay?

>Comparing average to minimum
>User name in Arabic script

i make more than that and own my apartment and therefore my expenses are far less.

Stop trying to live in trendy city's you cucks. My mom owns a 4 BR house that's she rents out for like $450 a month in a nice neighborhood too.

Solution: Minimum wage should live in a minimum apartment, not an "average" one.

>average rent

This shit is so misleading, the median would be a far more accurate representation of cost of living considering the amount of cardboard box apartments in the middle of shit cities raise that average up. Naked ape did a video about socialist bullshit brought up like this

youtube.com/watch?v=Jdt6LwJuNvM

Get a roommate.

Politicians are owned by corporate

but the average wager per hour is 24.57.

My rent is 600 a month for a 4 bedroom trailer and 3 acres.

That's one of the big problems here. The incorrect perception of idiots like you that consider them to be "high school student's part time job". That's not the reality. Telling people a fictional reality based on your opinion doesn't help anything.

>Rent is supossed to cost 1/4 of monthly income

Really an unrealistic expectation. I live in Nebraska . I rent a 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment (1500ft^2) built in 2016. My rent is $1134, I make about 60k before tax. My monthly income after tax is about $2700.

I don't know where in the US somebody would be able to rent a nice place for a quarter of their monthly income. That would be a fucking dream.

Wow it's almost like minimum wage is so teenagers can buy gasoline and movie tickets and not retards who thought it was a good idea to get a mortgage and five kids when they work at taco bell and never finished high school

Attached: 1484095108572.png (804x743, 22K)

apparently I'm the only fucking person who actually pays taxes here

does no one else fucking know this?

Pretty sure the average rent is $800-900.

Bull fucking shit! Maybe in metropolitan areas but rural areas which there are a LOT more of, rent is substantially less. Like half of that. Additionally the wage is higher in comparison to the cost of living.

>obvious shitpost
>1 post by this ID
Every time.

If you respond to this shill bullshit beyond my post, it should be assumed that you are just bumping intentionally and you should be banned just like OP for posting the same bait every goddamn day. Mods, deal with this. Stop being faggots.

In the USA, we have to do everything stupid
minimum wage, guns, whatever

The minimum wage and the poverty line are the exact same thing and when you raise the line more people are underneath and wont be able to participate in the economy at all.

IF A BURGER FLIPPING ROBOT COSTS 14 DOLLARS AN HOUR TO OPERATE WHY PAY A CHIMP TO DO HALF THE WORK FOR 15???

The amount you CHOOSE to spend on your life and the place you CHOOSE to live in should be based on how much you can earn or provide not how much you WANT.

Corporations convince you you NEED to live in a city and buy Nike's, when all you deserve is scraps and a shack if you aren't smart enough to provide something.

Stop being a vampire and start a real business.

>Takes an average (including rent for super high end houses and locations)
>compares average to the literal bottom of the ladder.
Why do I even browse this site?

Kill everyone on minimum wage. Problem solved.

Average wage earners should live in the average apartment for wage earners, not salaried professionals. The OP's stat includes all apartments, including salaried, so it's an irrelevant number.

You're the stupid one in this situation
Low IQ people can't do anything else than work fast food jobs

IF YOU WANT AVERAGE RENT YOU BETTER MAKE AVERAGE PAY DUMBASS

>the average
Which average?

Minimum wage and government drives the cost up. The most expensive places to live are cities ran by liberals because of this.

shut up dummy
jobs at the local major corporation mills are like 15 per hour.
Holy fuck I hate you young republicans

a quick google search shows the hourly american wage is around 24.57, housing ain't cheep in the land of the free, but it's not out of reach for people who earn the average wage.

This is a great argument for eugenics, especially as machines continue to take low-IQ jobs.

The housing shortage alone is reason enough to stop all immigration immediately.

Stay mad kid

>if the average rent is $1234 that means you cant get it for cheaper

Attached: 1506786636491.png (625x423, 74K)

>live with parents
>rent: $0
>bills: $0
>food: -$300, because they fuck'n feed me

checkmate, atheists

>average rent
>minimum wage
brainlessfeelsguyimage35.jpg

>You can't expect this single mom with a family of four to support her household flipping burgers AND still have money to go out on weekends.

I don't. Economics is a conspiracy theory.

The minimum US rent is $800/month.

For rent to cost less than half of income, as it should, you'd need to make $1600/month.

At 40 hours a week, that's $10/hour.
The minimum wage in many states is around this.

That's a very yellow flag you have, user. Just saying.

>don't know how averages work

Rent where I live for a 1br is around 430 a month. Fucking move if you can't afford to live where you are at.

>m-muh market will decide all

christfags btfo, market wizard in the sky forms all fates

B-But that makes you a beta goy-I mean user! Abandon your family the second you hit 18 and go to college and get yourself thousands of dollars of debt!

>this
i live in an area where that is an average, but if i want to move about 30 minutes away it's much, much lower. and that's within a major, metropolitan county.
seeing as how the US is over 3 million square miles (8 million square km for the rest of you), i imagine there's a huge gray area...

Live comfortably in Colorado. Rent 1k for a 4 bed 2 bath house. 2 car garage.

Legalize weed.

Now renting in an apartment. 2 bed 2 bath. $1500
Nogs and weed smell everywhere now.

Make a good living. But 1500 is a lot. Was saving up to buy. But the savings are less and less each year.

They just passed a something every resident has to pay $5 a month to maintain the storm drains.

Liberals have invaded. California 2.0

seriously
>wahhh why don't I get to live on the beach in southern california!!!
people are too fucking stupid or flat out ignorant of the concept of economic scarcity, it's quite shocking

Attached: IMG_1172.png (750x1334, 600K)

My job requires a bachelor of science and pays $13/hour

Attached: 1494038845095.jpg (470x512, 72K)

Rent average depends on where you live. Rent in SF, LA or NY is 2-3k for a one bedroom apartment. That's why you see so many homeless people in these liberal shitholes.

The biggest fallacy is that rent should be a quarter of your income. Why? Rent or mortgage is usually half to 3/4 of most people's income. Cry about pay for a car note, insurance when you could be bicycling to work. Cry more about not being able to buy a fucking 600 iphone/smart phone you don't really need.

Everything else is just bad reverse math and shit logic.

i thought you commies loved the labor camps?

Attached: 20180314-liang-eyeroll.jpg (696x493, 53K)

>jobs at the local major corporation mills are like 15 per hour

So then go work there and stop bitching.

Attached: 1420053874461 - Copy.jpg (306x306, 20K)

I don't have to defend anything especially because of some pot smoking degenerate meme country

If only we didn't ship all the jobs away and let illegals undermine native workers.

>the average US rent
High-concentration areas like New York City raise overall rent costs. Move somewhere cheaper. No, you just "want" to live in NYC cause it's "cool".
My rent costs 650$/mo everything included. I live in a two-bedroom on top of a hill with free parking and a beautiful view of my city. Even working minimum wage part time, I have more than enough money to live and I go to school the rest of the time. I spend money uselessly on occasion as well.
Fuck whoever made that post, they are retarded.

This is fully in line with Sup Forums's official policy of non-White extermination. Imagine how much rent prices would drop if shitskins were exterminated or returned to their savage lands.

>the minimum is lower than the average
>this is a bad thing
communist mathematics

A place to sleep and other luxuries are not rights, I don't give a fuck about anyone struggling to pay bills.

>1234
We HAVE to live in San Fran!!1 DRUMPFFY

Hey I'm just working within the system. If they're flipping burgers they're worth what they bring in which is usually negligible. But I'm legally required to pay them the minimum.

why would a minimum wage worker live pay an average rent?

Because I'm not a nigger or a spic

Attached: Capture.png (447x580, 37K)

You don't have to live alone.
Our ancestors lived much closer to eachother than we do.
Degenerates need their own apartment because they are addicted to pornography and masturbation.

>Minimum wage people should be able to afford median priced homes

It's almost like they are the bottom ring of the pay bracket. Maybe they should try getting better jobs if they want to afford better apartments.

Also where the fuck is the median $1234? Here in Texas it's like $945 for 1 bedroom nice 800 ft apartment

Attached: Sowell-7.jpg (934x452, 78K)

It's because Boomers and Real Estate developers don't want the value of their homes/property to go down, so they restrict the supply of housing. If they couldn't manipulate the zoning laws as well, we wouldn't have this problem.

>Comparing average rent to the minimum wage instead of median household income

Attached: 1516090013160.png (645x729, 77K)

>mfw 50% of homes in my country are below average.
why live?

I'm a manager and I only get 14/hour. Go outside more often you fucking mongrel.

>a minimum wage worker has a right to only spend 1/4 of their income on the average US rent
wut?

Attached: maymay.png (637x432, 46K)

>1200 a month
The absolute state of cityniggers

It's amazing to me that the majority of you guys are racist, but you will defend multinational corporation paying people abysmal salaries

Who do you think wanted the shitskins here, morons?

THIS 100%

Get a roommate

The cheapest houses on the market in my area are 55 & up only
Blatant price-fixing

Jesus, that's way less than high school students doing menial and unskilled jobs make in Norway.

>get gf/bf
>rent is now $600

Damn, that was hard.

honestly I don't knock people who wanna live by themselves, but if you cant afford it and you wont even consider it, then what the fuck.

>the average US rent is $1234 a month
This includes commercial rentals. Nice try.

quit.

Find four roommates.
1234/4=$308
30/7.25=4.1

You win!

If that doesn't work, just steal more land from Natives by destroying forests and build thousands of 100 story sky rises with single bedroom appartments for everyone who make minimum wage. Plow down moutains, trees, animals, rivers, everything in the way to create new roads and public transportation. Let everyone, all over the world immigrate to our new super infrastructure

Or just accept that Government isn't responsible for individuals, just society. People are free, and that means they are free to fail.

although common, this is really bullshit.
the idea that you need to bust your ass 40-50 hours a week, every week, for 40 fucking years is bullshit.
we have the means to provide for ourselves with a MODERATE amount of work.
do (((they))) really need more billions on top of the billions they already have?
no.
they induced female "empowerment" and "need immigrants" which, along with (((globalization))) and monopolization of the economy and (((influence))) in government & politics, has led to the abysmal situation in which we find ourselves

this they always use some bullshit stat that is way unrealistic, like, dig into those stats and it probably turns out to be “average rent per month for apartment in NY City.

>live on CT shoreline which is pretty expensive
>been out of mom's house since 18
>worked multiple jobs until I landed a decent job with a larger company
>got paid 11 an hour to start
>had roommates
>learned to cook
>learned to fix cars
>built my credit and never bought something I couldn't payoff before interest was due
>been all over the us/Iceland twice/Montreal a few times
>finished a five year apprenticeship and got my AS in night school
>been with company ten years now making 33 and just moved into my house

It's not that hard with half a brain and some work ethic

You have just created the 2 working parent crisis. Gonna have to import some immigrants because nobody has time to raise children.

>That's one of the big problems here.

The problem isn’t some user on Sup Forums on Sup Forums telling some complaining faggot to grow up.

>As suggested
By who and for what reasons?

Why would someone be looking for an average place to stay with a below average income?

I once lived around niggers and wasn’t making much money. Instead of complaining, thinking I was entitled to live in a neighborhood I couldn’t afford because “muh feelz”. I got an education and a good job and bought a house in a nice neighborhood. Maybe growing up wasn’t so bad after all.

Try it or go be poor somewhere else.

Not everyone deserves to live.

of course you aint gonna be able to afford an AVERAGE house on MINIMUM wage

>do (((they))) really need more billions on top of the billions they already have?
Yes, because they frequently go out of business.
They might make billions and billions, but they also spend billions are a time on innovations that fail, system upgrades, staffing, buy outs, etc etc..
msn.com/en-us/finance/companies/toys-r-us-tells-workers-it-will-likely-close-all-us-stores/ar-BBKdJLk

It's not uncommon. Billions are not a lot of money when you also spend billions.

Attached: 1520979762669.jpg (400x400, 36K)

>Minimum wage should be anywhere near the income it takes for average rent
>Minimum wage should exist at all
Minimum wage inflates all cost of living. It does not help the economy. Better jobs help the economy. Can't find a better job? Bitch about that to your politicians until they figure out policies that encourage better work to come to your area, not penalize the little work that your area does have.

Population control required if you want answers.

ask for a raise. they need you more than you need them.

Not an argument.

Minimum wage should double and triple up in a minimum apartment and get educated.

Pretty sure thats as high that muslim can count

It is pretty shitty. I was apartment hunting in Vegas lately and the minimum monthly income requirement is 2.5x what the rent is.
That’s ridiculous.

That’s the point I brought up. It doesn’t matter when you’re dealing with an entitled weakling that lack the motivation to actually earn more money. It’s always easier to complain about things you don’t have, blame whitey or capitalism. Some people don’t deserve to live indeed.
