Ha ha! Time for Shogi! Volume 13 is finally out and it's your last chance to place bets on who will win the Akari bowl.
3-gatsu no Lion
To this day, i still wonder why the author paired Rei with Hinata and not Akari. Pretty much all the motivations of the character would be fullfilled that way.
My bet is that Akari will pick no one.
The way it's unfolding, it would seem Shimada is closing in, but it may all just be a ruse.
>INB4 a Gotou clone appears outta nowhere and cucks everyone
The virgin player vs The Chad shogi master
>and aim still let down
I still like the manga, but I have to say the mangaka is comparable to togashi when it come to work ethic. Monthly manga with around 10 page a chapter that's hardly move to plot for quite sometimes is just horrible if you read this not for the slice of life
This manga can get pretty creepy with how unaware it is of its forced sweet vibe
Akari is an old hag
Akari's gonna take both.
i would have liked this more if they had shown the entire tournament.
Also Kiriyama jobbed hard
Isn't she like 23? In which world is that an old hag?
shuts in with no sense of reality, so everybody on this board
>jobbed
>lost to a guy who has beaten Souya multiple times
Childhood is when you ship Rei x Hinata. Adulthood is when you realize Rei x Akari makes more sense.
Grim reaper is cute! CUTE!
She's too motherly. A mother is what Rei needed earlier in the series, but now that he's manned up he needs to be the support in the relationship.
Childhood is when you ship Rei x Hinata.
Adulthood is when you realize Rei x Akari.
You become an Sup Forumsnon when you regress and decide Rei x Kyouko is the only way.
Does a husband leave his wife when she becomes too motherly? I don't ship either pair but that's silly.
kiriyama has defeated him in the past in the first tournament that we saw, since then kiriyama rank has gone from C2 to B1, so he should be a lot better now.
Looking at her previous work, the mangaka might be a reverse lolicon (that is, she self-inserts as the little girl).
I rooted for shimada-san to win the akari bowl in the previous volume but now I'm kinda wanting for sensei to win.
did the author fuck up here??
the opponent shimada has to face is Kubota 6-dan but later we see that he is playing gotou.
forgot pic
It'd be pretty satisfactory that after she was his support (motherly or otherwise), he becomes her support after he's manned up.
I'm reading it right now you guys.
Akari's smile is a miracle of the universe.
That it is. Fuck, as I get older I always root for the cake-type characters.
I mean... just look at her!
She's cute but all of the Kawamoto sisters' smiles are radiant sunshines
Akari's assets are of course her ample maternal bosom
I've been rooting for cakes since I first got into anime at like age 12. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that adult women such as teachers or nurses were the only females I could reliably have comfortable, pleasant communication with for most of my life. Actually, it has everything to do with that.
Yes you're right. All of their smiles need to be protected.
Akari is the patrician choice. I Wonder how much longer it will take her to heal her daddy issues.
Shimada being dreamy all of a sudden.
So this is what he'd look like if he wasn't constantly dying from intestinal problems.
That actually would make sense, if you consider how forced was everything at the mid-end of Hinata's arc. I mean, other characters like Kyouko or other females are pretty much non existent.
The author wasted potential in forcing things up. MC could've been way more interesting.
I want the madman himself to call me a cuck
>My bet is that Akari will pick no one
There is always Nikaidou.
Momo
How old is Sensei?
If he is the same age as Shimada he's probably in his early 30s.
The thought of them having a threesome got me so hard.
Nikaido and Souya's match was really exciting. Also, I know he's an asshole, but I really like Gotou and liked that scene where he caught Nikaido. That scene with Kyouko at the end caught me by surprise. It was very melancholic but pleasant, I'm glad she's letting go and taking a look at her mistakes.
About Akari, I would personally pick Shimada because he's cool but I would like Akari to be with someone closer to her age. He seems very reliable, though, so in that regard he seems very fitting. I'm a little conflicted because Akari just seems so young and fresh.
I want to protect Kyouko's smile
The crazy eyes are getting crazier.
Is this ending soon? The pacing for this volume was pretty brisk with its 12-page chapters. And then Kyouko comes back after a million years and suddenly isn't mad at Kiriyama anymore because of character development offscreen.
I sure do enjoy the comfort of this show.
Godspeed, Kiriyama.
>it would seem Shimada is closing in
That's how you know he won't win.
Imagine if she was actually endgame.
