Greetings newfriend, Tate no Yuusha, or Shieldbro as it used called around here, used to have constant threads in 2014, but the buzz started dying out when more LN spoilers became available, people got to know the story became quite edgy, revenge fantasy style, and the interest began fading.

Dont forget the animation director of hitsugi no chaika is working as the character designer here. You can probably feel some chaika vibes in the designs

I enjoy the manga. Glad that it's getting an adaptation. Raphtalia is olev.
It has its shortcomings, no doubt, but I found it to be entertaining so far.

Yeah, nothing is perfect. The heroes couldnhave been a bit less dumb. And well... They are, but fall on ther faces harder than in the wn.

Only if there isnt another anime that will make it look like a joke. Sadly i can't think of one, and death march and Overlord S2 comes this winter.
