USSR without USA supplies (via Lend-Lease) would have fallen to the Nazis. Soviet officials admitted as much. USSR with USA supplies would probably have defeated the Nazis on their own and "freed" the rest of Europe, leading to a West Germany type situation. USA without the USSR would have beaten the Nazis but it would probably have extended the war and nukes would start dropping on Germany.
In reality it was a team effort.

The common folk know nothing about WW2, they think 6 gorrilion jews died, that the war was all about killing jews, that Hitler wanted to genocide all jews, that Nazis were all blond haired and blue eyed, that Nazi's were racists... the list goes on and on. Kike conditioning at its finest, and these cunts had Israel since 1917 and only needed a valid reason and international support to go in and start genociding and stealing land. Funny how that works.
Sure, if you only count soilders as military capability.

Russians won because they were the good guys, not because of invincible armor or some stupid shit.

In the absence of a Western Front, even with Lend Lease in effect, the Third Reich still would've won without a doubt.
By 1941 or 1942, depending on whose statistics you use, German defense overlays were already favoring production of goods geared towards fighting the Western Powers. This situation became increasingly acute as the war progressed, with only 34% of the Luftwaffe's fighting strength in the East by 1944, and 1943 marked the first time the majority of the Panzer Divisions were in what could be defined the Western Front(s). For example, Army Group Center at the time of Bagration had been stripped of all but ~40 fighters for their entire front, had an extreme artillery munition shortage (one fourth of production for AA purposes against Western bombers) and had no armor divisions because they had been sent to France in anticipation of OVERLORD.
In addition to the above, you repeatedly find instances of Hitler prioritizing the Western Front over the Eastern Front, arguably as early as 1941 with the Balkan operations, but quite clearly from 1942 on. He made the strategic decision in late 1942 during the Stalingrad disaster to reinforce the Afrika Corps over Rommel's objections (he favored a pullout at that point) and Manstein's requests. Had 10th Panzer, 1st SS (Used for Case Anton) and the 300 Ju-52s been diverted for use in supporting THUNDERCLAP (6th Army breakout attempt) and WINTER STORM (Manstein's relief effort), the disaster that was Stalingrad would not have occurred. For another example, Hitler ended CITADEL (Kursk) early in response to Sicily, despite the II SS Panzer Korps having finally achieved the operation breakthrough needed on the Southern front after demolishing the Soviet operation reserves in the area.

The Japanese Empire of 1939, sans the occupation zones of China, had an economy about two thirds the size of the United States and with about half the population. It also contained more machine tools than the USSR, meaning it had a higher production capacity. Biggest handicap was its lack of resources, in particular oil but also alloys and technical knowledge to build a synthetics industry (Like Germany partially did) to offset its lack of oil.
VERY excellent engine developments though; had the Axis developed an earlier and more comprehensive technology exchange, WWII would've turned out much different.

The initial German invasion overran roughly 40% of Soviet industrial capacity, 60-80% of its aluminum output, 60% of its coal production, 50% of its steel production, and around 30% of electrical output. Critical materials such as Tin, Lead, Manganese Ore, Copper and others were also in short supply. By 1942, due to the loss of Ukraine and other areas (North Caucasus in particular), Food production had collapsed to just 38% of the 1940 total.
Lend Lease thus comes in, and is able to provide the Soviets with sufficient raw materials to make up for their lack of everything but aluminum and nickel. American export of machine tools, including whole factories at points, is enough to make up 25% of the Soviet industrial sector by the time the war ends. A review of Soviet production totals also find they produce almost no locomotives, half-tracks, trucks, rail stock or rail cars; these were all provided by Lend Lease and allowed the limited Soviet industrial sector to focus on producing tanks, armored cars, and aircraft.
Most importantly, American food aid kept the Red Army fed during the course of the war, in particular during the dark days of 42-43 where the Soviets were recording mass deaths among industrial workers due to starvation and rations were cut to their lowest possible limit.
In short, don't even attempt to imply Lend Lease didn't care it for the Soviets.

The T-34 was found to be deficient against basically all German armor types, including the obsolete "short" 75mm of the early Panzer IV's and the 50mm Panzer IIIs. At Kursk, for example, II SS Panzer Corps was able to achieve 10:1 loss ratios despite predominantly using the then obsolete IIIs.
Post-War testing by the U.S. Army, meanwhile. found that the 75mm Sherman consistently outfought even the Late War, advanced German tanks.
Ethan Watson
Uh whoever told you that probably A.) didn’t pay attention in history class or B.) didn’t actually go to school.
I grew up in Alabama a redneck part of the states that taught creationism seriously up until a decade or so ago, even we learned that the Soviet Union and Britain and USA were the big triad(tyalta talks) in taking down Nazi germany. Been taught that since 5th grade to graduation.
Of course we like to emphasize our importance in the affair, but I’ve never actually heard in my experience or with others I’ve talked to a total disregard for the millions of dead soviets who contributed.
Firstly: 5% of the ENTIRE Soviet war production? What % of the yearly or monthly production, when it was most needed, did it make up? You can't fool me with your tricky little Jew statistics.
Also: >allied bombings on German infrastructure >allied Intel shared with soviets (they cracked the German code ffs) Are you taking any if that into account?
But shermans were better than t34s (not sure about the t34-85 tho), they gained a bad reputation because brits used early sherman tanks (made for training) in actual combat
Maybe 5% overall, which is an useless metric considering the difference in production from 1941 to the last 2 years of the war. The movement of factories to the east was done with US trucks and US fuel. Lend-lease was the tourniquet that kept the USSR alive when they were bleeding out. Stalin admitted as much.

Literally all OPs are just bait posts trying to draw you in the thread.
Needs the Finns to be all beat up themselves to be accurate. They were on their last legs at the end. Finland never had the manpower or industrial capacity to outlast the Soviets even at 5 to 1 casualties. But the Soviet death toll was appalling for how little they managed to take.
Totally the second world war was between Germany and Russia,it was fought and won on the eastern front. Just like in ww1 it was mainly between France,UK and Germany. The rest of the countryes participating were inconsequential to the outcomes of these wars. Of course the dumb ammerimuts dont want to belive that they were irrelevant....

You also probably think that the Land Lease was for free you inbred fuck, it was Business as usual and the Soviets actually paid it after the war with SOVIET AND GERMAN GOLD.
also >USA without the USSR would have beaten the Nazis but it would probably have extended the war and nukes would start dropping on Germany.
You cannot be so retarded, without clear chance of winning the USA would have never entered the war in the first place.

Relevant testing by U.S. Army was done in 1954 by the US Army's Ballistics Research Laboratory, in which they reviewed tank vs tank engagements fought by the 3rd and 4th Armored Divisions over the course of the 1944 campaign(s). Of the 98 engagements studied, 28 were found to include the Panther and the overall conclusion was that the Sherman was found to be 3.6 times better than the Panther. Average numerical size was 1.2 Shermans to 1 Panther in engagements, so don't go claiming tank spam to explain this away.
Also of note is the finding that when a Sherman was destroyed, only one crewman on averaged died. For the T-34, meanwhile, only one crew member survived in the event of the tank being knocked out.
In 1942, by which Soviet production had largely begun to focus on the T-34 while the Germans had yet to switch over to the Panzer IV with the long 75mm, you find that the older German weapons were still inflicting horrific losses.
Camden King
Of course. The US were helpful, but the Soviets won the war.

I do not agree with said photo. The Russians need to be represented by ants or whatever the Cretaceous version of ants were coming from the right side of the photo. Then Japan needs to be on the left and America should be a two headed fire breathing dragon. Yes the Russians overran Germany from the east. Though it wasn't until after DDay that they started to gain ground. After they were really on the run it was a race to Berlin between the US and Russia. After that Russia didn't do shit to help the US in the Pacific against Japan. So, go learn some history jackass.

The problem was the 4th Reich did take parts of Russia. They weren't ready for holding it. America has made the same mistakes in Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan. The only thing is the world didn't gang up on US for invading those shitholes.
Samuel Gonzalez
Even if Germany had taken over Moscow they still wouldn't have beaten the USSR. Do you know how huge the country is? Russians could deal with winter and poor conditions very well, they would hide everywhere and do surprise attacks. Germany would still have to fight with the USA and the UK dealing with Russians biting them from the other side would make them lose sooner or later. Also how can you be sure Germany wouldn't be the first to invent nukes?
Justin Gutierrez
They could never had made enough heavy water and Hitler dropped the Nuke program for the Nazi bell.
