any day now
Just read the manga. It's pretty good.
Has he gone to mars yet?
is there enough manga to fill 99 eps yet?
>s2
nigger it was 100 episodes. I had to drop it because it was so long. started off amazing then just got dull and only Mutta moments kept the interest.
Not having the balls to kill Hibito did me in. Those episodes were just intense, and they had me going that they might actually do it. Nope.
Hibito nearly dying in space and having to get over his ptsd was where he got interesting. killing him then would have been somewhat satisfying, but dumb overall.
I miss watching Space Bros every weekend. My weekends have been kind of lacking since it ended.
Read the manga and find out
Most distracting ears in anime?
What the fuck matey.
First closed environment simulation was the best arc. Watching Mutta hang out with his old friends later was so heartwarming. Second best was Hibito beating his anxiety disorder.
Worst was either October Sky or that time they were out in the desert so long they accidentally had a four-episode recap.
OP3>1>8>5=4>7>2>6
Was there any kind of conflict in this series? I remember starting to watch it but not much happening. Might try again.
The last ED and OP took me by surprise, the OP with that imagery of the moon as a human universal and the ED with the sudden massive ISS out of nowhere. Tears to my eyes.
There aren't any antagonists but there's plenty of conflict, mostly Man Vs Himself and Man Vs Astronaut Training Programs but some heavy Man Vs Nature in Hibito's storyline.
And a heavy dollop of Man Vs Not Having The Nuts To Just Ask Out Serika
There's the conflict of whether to be a whiny bachelor living with your parents in your 30s or making the superhuman effort to become an astronaut.
For me it never become dull
...
This anime was amazing. Two years of my life... All these feels, all these characters. Yes, I really hope to see S2 one day.
Bonbonbonbon! Konshuu no uchuu sashin desu! Sugei!
>anime about professional, competent adults
>they're all silly goofballs instead of edgy and driven with complicated pasts
>like actual adults
I loved each and every one of them including Vince.
FUUN NI EN NA ARU ANI MUTTA TO
Oh so its a mature anime for mature people such as myself?
Yes.
No. Relatively mature anime for an un-mature person like myself.
Good stuff.
and why should you?
Relationships in this show are pure gold. Cute, funny and in some way realistic.
yes
What was going on there? Kenji had something going on in his life and they were told that only one of them could pass or something? All I remember is nothing could break their brotherly bond.
I miss it and Polar Bear Cafe.
What you said. Lots of inspiring stuff in this show. And the silliness makes me think people shouldn't take themselves too seriously.
I went through real withdrawal when the anime finished.
The first 40 episodes or so up until Mutta gets accepted are pure 10/10 material. The rest are a decent 7/10ish depending on the arc but it never reached the heights of those first 40 or so episodes.
>Shirokuma Cafe
my nigga. That was a 10/10 episode too. Its a shame we will never get to see him win her over.
Serika is best girl
the manga got real boring
The pacing really kills it, just like the pacing did in the second half of the anime. Biweekly chapters with almost nothing happening for months at a time is hard to follow.
I'm letting chapters build up and reading them in one go myself.
Did Mutta have autism?
These two shows where the height of comfy
Love autism for Serika.
