I'm glad they're not setting up the corporation as the bad guys. Even if they're more interested in it as the results of an experiment, it's nice to see that they want the same thing.
Is this the first mention of how the drug functions?
>them being so close is going to fuck them over
Oh goddamnit, stop bullying them.
...
This is some Orpheus-tier bullshit now. I guaranfucking-tee they're going to have to spend the next three months avoiding eachother to keep their memories. How the hell are the handlers meant to explain that?
Thanks user. Not fan of "biological" part though, feels like a bit silly.
I'm just accepting it as necessary story bullshit. I'm not going to argue the science but it's vaguely logical enough for it to work, imo. I can't think of a better way to explain "mass stealth incredibly specific mindwipes" than nanomachines, son.
I dropped this when the Ogha shitfest started, is it done yet?
yes
We're in the final arc now. It's definitely worth catching up.
Man I'm getting PTSD from 5cm/s now fuck Shinkai and fuck this manga
D-don't worry user, I'm sure there'll be a happy ending. Author is definitely keeping their options open.
>inb4 months of torturous separation before they give in, have passionate sex and wake in the arms of someone they just barely remember
Yeah I'm a biochem PhD student and I'm willing to accept it but I upsets me. It could have been better, like the pills are causing them to have multiple personality disorder and all the memories are going to the new personality and it'll go away once they stop taking the pills. That sound shitty but it's less shitty than what they wrote in I think.
I sense great suffering ahead.
