Just because it looks more faithful doesn't mean it looks better.
Although I'll admit I'm biased towards the OVA because I thought OVA Baki was a cocky but cool badass while anime Baki just came across as an arrogant asshole.

I want to live in the universe where the OVA got made into a full anime and the manga was left to rot. Unlikeable MCs are the worst.
