Masamune-kun no Revenge

How do you feel knowing Yoshino is in pole position to win the MCbowl?

I’m completely ok with this a Yoshino ending.

...

>Not Aki
Feels pretty good.
She never knew the true nervous wreck Masamune is, and the few chapters since the 2 began dating shows the one she actually liked was the past Masamune, and that he has moved on.

holy shit a manga with a good ending in 2017 ?

...

...

Maid is the winner? yay

...

Awesome, I'm tired of the generic tsundere that treats the MC like shit and still wins

...

Honestly these two make a much better couple.
I wonder if the author has enough balls to make it happen though.

>His body wants the big titied maid
Please let this be real

And the ride so far was pretty shitty.
But it is something I've always disliked about these childhood romance or these Liar/revealed romantic comedies.
The leads normally either knew each other for a few years before cutting contact for most of their lives or their relationship is based completely on lies(in this case, both). These and fateful encounters are so damn overused and always leave a bitter taste in my mouth.
Relationships based on a solid foundation of... Knowing each other for some time and generally getting along are almost more interesting by proxy, because most of being in a relationship is enjoying the company of each other, not flipping a coin all the time or doing over-the-top grand gestures.

...

I think it's over for Aki, at least.
At most, I expect an open ending, building up he is going to pursue the maid and that the other girls haven't given up on him in a "the manga is over, but his adventure goes on" so shitty, it'd make me want to puke.

...

...

>"I'll pretend I didn't hear"
D..did he just confessed to the maid?

...

>y u do dis

No. He said that he didn't want to date Aki.

forgot to add "In the most subtle way ever"

Yoshino looks gorgeous here.

...

>She's a girl, you know?!
>And piggy's her boyfriend you know!?

These translations are kind of missing the point.

>even if you ask me why-
>She's your girlfriend, isn't she!?
>You're her boyfriend aren't you piggy!?
>I know!
>I know..
>I know it's weird that I'm acting like this...
>but..
>my body won't listen to me!

It's funny how Yoshino can fill the role of cool/funny/autistic girl by herself in this manga

Last page.

It's Tiv. She can only do "Gorgeous" and "Cute"

I always knew in my heart.

>Today, I will remind them

here too.

>I-
>knew this was the case.
>*the hives
>*the stomach aches
>I'm find with Master
>*Why did things end up like this
>I shouldn't have
>asked her out in the first place
>I think the time I spent making plans with you
>was the most fun I've ever had

I'm having School Days flashbacks Sekai ending here

Is this the best comeback a ship a made?

yoshino never betrayed aki

See

He said out loud he regrets asking out Aki. That's why she wrote on his cheek "I'll pretend I didn't hear anything"

Holy fuck it's happening
Maid was the main girl all along

>This shit was still ongoing
>Maid won
Welp, I regret dropping this but the main girl was insufferable

Alright at least he worked for this one

Pretty much. Yoshino is the girl with most screentime and relevance in the plot.

>Losing your boyfriend and he dates your best friend
Now that's some good revenge.

to think I almost dropped this

The story is getting so muddy and it's great.

Yoshino is guilt tripping so hard right now because she feels like she's betraying her best friend and master because she's falling in love with piggy.

Meanwhile Masamune is like, well shit, I fell in love with the maid. Why the fuck did I ask out her master.

It’s kind of weird for the manga to be pushing a maid ending all of a sudden, but at least it isn’t Aki.

I still prefer the Ichigo 100% one, because in that he seriously never had any chemistry with Aya and breaking up with a girl is normally death in Romcoms(unless the relationship is fake). Nishino even goes to a different school and even goes on to study abroad, so she has so many defeat flags, it's honestly ridiculous and she was the option that got the least screentime.
The only thing they had is that they got along and were cute together, and as backhanded as me saying this might sound, those don't actually mean anything in manga.

Excellent.

>She was the one who called him Piggy first and started the revenge plot, AKA main girl
>Aki was the childhood friend with no chance all along

It's a beautiful ruse, and I'm glad I fell for it.

I kind of get the feeling for the sole purpose of trying to make people a little more conflicted for Aki since otherwise she's just a bitch to Yoshino.

get the feeling this scene exists for the sole purpose*

Thanks.

This

This love pretzel thing is something sort of new and refreshing

I hope master will win.

>I kind of get the feeling for the sole purpose of trying to make people a little more conflicted for Aki since otherwise she's just a bitch to Yoshino.
It's completely that. Remember when she made Yoshino stay up all night to learn how to photoshop some dogs together so she could threaten to get some guy's dog raped just because he insulted her after she compared him to a bullfrog?
I mean, Aki was so likable.

If you ignore her attitude towards him, she has been the wingman this ENTIRE TIME, supporting him and getting the dirty intel to get him with her best friend for the sake of 'revenge'.

She's been the dark horse the entire time.

Oh I 'member.

Remember the motherfucking rocket to the moon experiment?

To borrow the words from a certain wise man, this is about what you can expect from a black haired perma-flat.

It's not that Aki is mean just be be mean. She just doesn't think. And yeah, she'd be a terrible girlfriend, but I can't hate her. Just dislike her. She's really pretty stupid.

That's another example. I don't think she did that to be mean to Yoshino. She probably really thought it would work. Aki has always been the stupidest girl in this manga.

That is a pretty important mistranslation.
Thank you

Funniest think is that despite this redeeming scene, at the start of the same chapter when she heard she had gone out the only thought that came to her was "I must have ordered to get something for me!"

Let's be honest here, as shitty as what she did to Masamune was, Yoshino sure was justified in her anger.

Yoshino has it in the bag right now. Every single piece of meta needed to win this bowl.
>actually the one responsible for MC's change, meaning she's the true main heroine
>story still going on despite MC dating Aki, a massive losing flag
>whole "the one I really love is" situation
>her reluctance to go for MC, meaning he's the one who will chase after her
>Aki learning about the revenge plot
>MC's partner in crime trying to hook him up with a girl and becoming his love interest instead
>compared to Cinderella
I can't see the maid end not happening unless the author either chickens out or completely derails the manga.
Damn, I have to eat my words and apologize for all the shit talking, this series made a comeback splendidly.

On the side note, Tiv's doing God's work this chapter.

She wasn't doing it for 'revenge'. I think this chapter as well as some of the previous one, show that Yoshino really loves Aki. The 'revenge' was a pretense for getting them together to make up for what she did to their relationship when they were kids.

Too bad she ended up falling for the fatty.

Literally the only reason I even picked it up in the first place.

Based fucking Frog King. His downfall was a tragedy indeed.

Also an instance of Masamune not feeling an ounce of sympathy for Aki getting wrecked with Yoshino having to push him to Aki's camp rather than swear loyalty to the frog king.

Does her sister know about her relationship with the MC? I can't remember the chapter, but I'm pretty sure they saw each other before.

>compared to Cinderella

It will be the ultimate pottery when Masamune literally rescues her from servitude and brings her into more or less aristocratic family.

I know the manga wants me to feel bad for Aki and sympathize with her, but I just can't. She's a monster and the maid is completely justified in getting her revenge, no matter how guilty it makes her feel. She's not even malicious on purpose, she just doesn't have any empathy whatsoever, and is incapable of even understanding when someone is hurt. Look at Yoshino's older sister, she doesn't even give a fuck anymore and possibly resents her own sister for being so much of a pathetic doormat.

she's so fucking adorable

Well it's not even revenge that she's going for anyway. The piggy incident was her just lashing out in indignation after dedicating her life to be abused by a girl her own age and not getting even a bit of appreciation for it.

>Masamune-kun no REVENGE
>KEKOLDING
>SHOUNEN

holy fuck those first two panels, I'm gonna be devastated when she loses

Redditers are crying right now.
>b-but muh Aki. She suffered the most!

>implying she has a chance
I'm a mastahfag and I'm not setting myself up for disappointment

Kids can be mean, man.
Is there anything good this twist can't do?
I am still expecting some headline:
>Scientists discovered cure for death! When asked for comment, head scientist just screamed "Master best girl" and then remained quiet until the press went away, as his team just nodded in agreement

I looked at leddit, almost all of that butthurt is from one guy who can barely type English

Seriously, why did the author even bother with Aki?

Bro, hop aboard the ship. It ain't sinking.
The story was set up this entire time for this result.
>Ch 2 Cinderella

It slipped under the radar. She's been there since chapter 1, since childhood. If the author is pulling this shit this late into the game, this is the turning point for the story. This is where shit starts falling apart.

What's the chance of a 2nd season of this? May pick manga up since anime ended nowhere as usual

Because for some unfathomable reason a lot of people like flat tsunderes.

But really, the premise of the story was pretty fun, trying to get revenge on a bitch by making her fall for you. Everyone expected it to turn into the usual "she's not actually a bitch just deeply hurt/shy/whatever and puts a wall in front of people", but then she just kept being a bitch the entire story.

Making her as clichéd a heroine as possible with as many victory flags as the author could cram down our throats is one of the things that make this turn actually good.
