BATTLE CRY

I miss this show

Geez I miss this series. I need to watch that spoopy zombie episode again - the one that poked fun at the dude who made the Mother series.

WONDER WHY YOUNG WOLF DON'T RUN WITH THE CLAN

ONLY TRUST INSTINCT AND BE ONE WITH THE PLAN

Is it bad that I liked it more than Cowboy Bebop?

Probably. But I wouldn't beat myself up over it. They're similar in some respects but not identical.

DEJA VU

Bebops still seen as more of a classic and is great but i wouldn't say it's better in anyway than champloo

lethal lunacy, gamblers and gallantry are better than any bebop stand alone ep's for me and the two part eps are 10/10's

Is it worth a watch?
Just finished Ping Pong in a seat, and am craving for a good anime.

>ping pong
I'm sorry nothing will ever compare to that

Yes. Also, go watch Tatami Galaxy.

They're both excellent Watanabe shows, it's really just a matter of preference.

I'm afraid so.
I'll do so, then. Just looked up Tatami Galaxi and it really got my attention, will definetely check it out, maybe even before Champloo.

No. Different tastes but they're both great.

of course you should watch it user
everybody needs to

Nujabes/10

If i ever get time powers i swear he's the first i'm saving

Watching Champloo always reminds me of how Nujabes is kill

I don't think so. The mix of Edo-era Japan with American hip-hop culture worked way better than it had any right to. Its such a cool aesthetic and the story itself is great.

How popular was he in Japan anyway?

You'd be doing the gods' work, user.

Your Are My FRIEND!!! AHHHHH

O-ok, no need to get too excited, just agreeing that saving Nujabes would be a good thing.

from what I heard pretty mainstream in Tokyo but I don't know if that's true senpai

also Lady brown > anything else

Like previous user said certain artist will be really big in specific places. For instance, just about anybody in tokyo area would know of tofu beats, but apparently outside of tokyo its not that well known. Hip Hop is probably bigger in Shinjuku area than anywhere else in the country. So I imagine its decently popular. At the very least, I've heard him playing in various hip hop clothing shops and some smaller restaurants. There was one curry udon place not too far from where I was staying that played Nujabes and Nujabes tributes almost exclusively.

I'm certainly not an expert on the matter though so take it with a grain of salt. In some ways its just speculation.

but who would win Mugen v. Jin?
