I liked the tv series but didn't like King of Eden. How was Paradise Lost?

East of Eden was Steinbeck's best novel.

It should get a proper sequel that retcons the shitty movies

I literally watched all of it because I love the OP song and I must say it was a great choice, final scene of the tv show was amazing.

The tv series was great, but they weren't able to give it a satisfying conclusion with the two movies.

In the end all that potential they built up ended up being wasted. A shame really.

Have you watched the new film by Kenji Kamiyama, Ancien and the Magic World or something like that? It was pretty cute (a bit cynical in context, maybe), but very by-the-numbers familiar stuff. Clearly low-budget theatrical to get some money for SAC 3.

It would be nice if we got the actual story about what happened with the production all these years later, something obviously had the shit hit the fan around the middle of the first season and only frantic scrambling manage to turn it into something coherent by the time the last film finished.

Big budget TV series that has interesting ideas here and there, but is unable to use so many characters and wrap the story. And this is just during the show. Then they made two boring as fuck movies where barely anything happens.

I remember it clearly, it's just when I think back to it, all I can think about is how uncomplex it is from what the show would like you to believe. It's pretty unimpactful.
