So Tsukihime is being adapted next, right? Right, guys?

This should get precedence.

>even in her own route Sakura is one of the more boring characters
You can't make this shit up.

The only real issue I have with Heaven's Feel is that, overall, it feels like Servants and the Grail War in general feel really superfluous to the story it's trying to tell. Though I guess that's why the story kills them off one by one so quickly. The only Servant who's REALLY necessary is Saber, and even then, it's only so that Shirou can be forced to kill someone that he otherwise might have wanted to save in order to save Sakura. A sacrificial lion to complete his character arc, basically.

I think that fits HF, since the war turns more into a one side vs the other. However the antagonist's side becomes this ridiculously OP team with the most OP servants. That helps to create the sense a this monolithic obstacle that the protagonists have to overcome and contributes to the sense of dread that pervades the route.

Also Saber kinda represents Shirou's heroism so yea. I think the characters' story should take precedence, and Saber had her story told in Fate, while Shirou develops throughout the whole VN.

The problem is that, taken on its own, it has a lot of unnecessary elements. You really don't need the Grail War at all. If you cut that aspect out and used some other plot device for Sakura's issues, it would actually turn out to be a far less cluttered story.

Tsukihime is perfectly fine as it is so stop falseflagging you faggot, nobody wants that.

I hope so. It really need something to do it justice.

t. Fatefag

Yea, for Sakura's issues another plot device could've been used, but HF is still just part of Shirou's story. Even though Sakura is the second most relevant character in HF, the grail war plays nicely with Shirou's arc about his ideals and the like, and Shirou is more centric to the story.

Not to mention they couldn't just randomly toss aside the grail war that had been going on for the previous 2 routes. Even in the far side of the moon routes in Tsukihime, while the Roa thing was mostly ignored, it had to be dealt with at the end. So this would be kind of the same.

Actually, the Roa part is never really mentioned. Even Ciel only really exists as a convenient plot device to give Shiki necessary information. Arcueid bows out of the plot two seconds after she appears.

The Far Side route doesn't really bother delving into vampires or the Church or thaumaturgy. The only real odd one out is Yumiduka, who's almost a non-sequitur and ends up having very little consequences throughout the rest of the story.

And I'm not saying they should throw out the Grail War. I'm just saying that the story is just worse off for having it. There's too much unnecessary information and going-ons. Like, a little under half the route is just tying up loose ends and getting rid of unnecessary pieces so that they can delve into the main plot without interruption.

What are the similarities between Fate and HF route?

...

try harder

It ends with Shirou VS Kotomine. Only in Fate, Shirou actually manages to defeat Kotomine while in Heaven's Feel, he gets knocked around helplessly until Kotomine's time limit runs out.

Well, sure. But if you put it that way it sounds very shitty. They do use the killing off of Servants to hype other things or advance the plot somewhat.

How would you make the Servants better in HF story?

Not until the remake

Don't treat everyone who isn't Rider like Worf?
>Wow, look at that, it killed previously established strong character! Things must be really serious!

How did True Assassin beat Lancer, Archer and Berserker?

He just beat lancer

Wormslut a shit.

bravo, type moon

I don't care much about them in HF. But if anything give them some cool interaction that lets us see how they see the way things are going now, or at the very least a cool fight or something. What they did with lancer in the movies would be ok.
The shadow had more buildup rather than just I killed deh stronk servants.
