Daily stormer possibly being botnet/honeypot?

i noticed this weird XHR and asked weev why did TDS made one.
he replied that it's for analytics, but i've seen many websites which use analytics, and many of them DON'T request ANY XHRs, and then he became really defensive about why i am asking about the infrastructure of the most censored news article.
what do you Sup ForumsSup Forums-acks think?
don't get me wrong, i love reading daily stormer, i just find this to be really really weird, and it's webmaster defending it with it being a standard in the industry.

I asked Weev about aliens one time in a stream and he kept flat out ignoring me, on purpose. He answered everyone else around me but me. Aliens and UFO disclosure absolutely are tied with our movement. Aryans could have extraterrestrial origins for all we know, or Jews. Think about that, that is huge.
