State your grievances against Zero no Tsukaima
There will never be any more
Louise losing all character development at the end of every season.
a great cast of girls but no harem ending, or nothing that says the losing girls found happiness elsewhere
But Louise was significantly better than the other girls so I don't see the problem.
I'm happy it ended with Louise, but the other girls are good and deserve happiness too especially Tabitha
The anime cut out all the best parts of the LN.
She's second best girl, and I'm not just saying that because she's flat. I'm sure she found happiness elsewhere.
Relationship never progresses.
They literally get married at the end of both the anime and the light novel.
Louise
What
This
>Siesta
Louise and Saito's maid, likely mistress
>Tiffania
Half-breed elves are destined for suffering
>Henrietta
Likely arranged marriage because royalty
>Tabitha
Likely arranged marriage because royalty
It's not like any of them even had a chance anyway.
>likely mistress
She wishes.
The anime focused too much on the main cast and less on the overall story, it skipped out on the conclusion to the Tristain-Gallia war as well as the crusade against the elves. The anime did get a proper ending though which is nice because the author already knew he was dying by the time the final season was being produced.
I hope you're not saying she is your grievance.
I didn't like either of the MCs; maybe they got better later on, but near the end of S1 I gave up.
The elf girl was neither impregnated nor sufficiently bullied. There also weren't enough Kirche doujins.
Author dying doesn't leave any chance of side stories after the end. Elf.
Too much convenient censoring.
Seven Seas canceled the official english releases of the light novels so all we have officially translated is the manga and that pisses me off.
It was unavoidable. They could have followed the LNs for the 4th season and left the anime with no ending, but as you said, Yamaguchi knew it was unlikely he'd finish the novels, so the anime was his chance to give it an ending.
This
Yeah I know, but I feel like all the grievances that people have with the anime are a result of things being skipped over during adaptation. Especially at the beginning of season 3 where they skip over Louise and Siesta working together to try and find Saito after he died in the war.
These but mostly I get a bit sad everytime I'm reminded of Yamaguchi-san
Siesta and Henrietta became obnoxious thirsty cunts.
Cancer's a bitch.
They also cut out Derflinger dying and being replaced by a katana, as well as Saito getting a panzer those two cuts are both disappointing.
Reasons like this only make me want human-level machine translation to get here faster.
The baka-tsuki translations aren't that bad at least, but I'd still much rather have a physical copy.
Was this scanned? It has over 300 pages so I don't think so.
well if I recall correctly, Derf does die in the anime, but comes back in some ex machina fashion, and there is no Tiger, but instead just an 88mm artillery piece that basically accomplishes the same thing
>not posting the webm
He said he just returned to the rune on Saito when he "died". Was it different in then LN?
He doesn't come back as soon, Saito is depressed for a while and eventually he has to get a new sword. He gets a katana and then it's revealed that Derflinger was in his rune.
Too perfect.
basically what said. He uses a katana for awhile, and then eventually Derf is able to possess the katana whilst Saito is fighting a water dragon and then stays in the new sword
>The 21st volume of Zero no Tsukaima novel will be delayed at least for two months. Please forgive me! Damn! I'll live on. I had been desperate, but I miraculously got an opportunity to take the operation. There is a possibility of survival. I really want to live.
>a fucking katana
I'm surprised and gladdened by the anime's restraint.
It's not presented in a superior '1000 times folded way better than every other sword' way though. He just uses it because it reminds him of home.
Ravage!
!
season 3
I never got to see Louise's nipples.
Louise was close to perfection.
Pic related is total perfection.
This, and the fact that anti-magic is boring and overused
Saito is a shit MC, most of the interesting characters get sidelined in favor of ones I don't like at all, Josette is a terrible character, half the time is spent on shitty harem hijinks instead of advancing the plot.
Louise isn't real and mine ;_;
Why would you want Louise to suffer in this shitty reality of ours?
Existence of Great Evil, Louise.
every girl was better than the main heroine
>Kirche
She only loses her character development at the start of season 3.
In Season 2 she's realized she has feelings for Saito but is still in denial about them because her main priority is social class and image. Her development throughout season 2 is overcoming that barrier.
In Season 4 she's exactly where she should be the whole way through. Pic related.
I really want to ravage!
You may be right. It's been quite a few years since I watched the series, but Louise's regression at the end of season 2 and the start of season 3 is nigh unforgivable.
I mean fucking hell, she was depressed because Saito died, and when it turns out he's still alive, one of the first interactions she has with him is blowing him up because she doesn't have his total, undivided attention.
It needs the Kai treatment.
You mean Brotherhood treatment?
Worst girl won.
It seems your shit taste is terminal.
So it turns out the ghost writer for the last 2 novels was the Blade Dance author. What ever happened to BD, is it even relevant in Japan anymore?
Josette was great at developing Julio's character.
Never got to watching S3 and S4, cause the start of S3 bored me to death, should I?
do it user, its not like your time is worth much anyway
Yes
The perfect girl.
No reverse isekai arc
fickitty focketty fuck it, I am still mad
It's almost like the author died before he could write everything he wanted
another one picked it up and finished it, my point stands
Yeah but he was just brought on to give the series a conclusion, anything beyond that would have just been fanfiction.
It got worse and worse with every new season. I liked the girls though.
>Louise was significantly better than the other girls
what?
no, seriously.. what? how? what does she have that the others don't?
>not think that this is literally the greatest creation humanity has ever produced
Are you gay or something?
Literally everything that mattered.
That's entirely correct, but I am not blaming the author or any circumstances
I'm just mad it doesn't exist
>not thinking that Louise is the greatest thing that humanity has ever produced
I think you should get checked out
She has self respect, for one. Siesta and Henrietta in particular are loose as fuck.
- personality: shitty tsundere that hits people for no reason
- looks: no chest, pinkshit, looks and behaves like a 10 years old.
- Intelligence/strength/social skills: none. Loses to every other girl.
back on the day, sure, but if you were to rewatch it you would actually be sorry at her for having falling for a scumbag who wags his tail at the smallest skin exposure around
seriously, saito is a cunt and he doesn't deserve her or any other girl
>- personality: shitty tsundere that hits people for no reason
Good tsundere, you mean. And she didn't hit Saito without reason, in fat, Saito always got off easy for being such a manwhore.
>- looks: no chest, pinkshit, looks and behaves like a 10 years old.
All of these are good things.
>- Intelligence/strength/social skills: none. Loses to every other girl.
Intelligence is irrelevant, she was kind as fuck on the inside and that's what matters. She was also very strong, I don't know why you listed that. And social skills are for whores.
3rd season was shit
She had exactly 0 redeeming qualities.
All in all, it was a pretty bland, cliche, boring show with a forgettable cast. The only 2 redeemable characters are the blue haired mage (Henrietta?) and the maid (siesta?).
>Louise is unintelligent
Did you even watch the same show as me? She's unable to use basic magic, but that's more of a physical inability than lack of intelligence. In the novels she's described as being generally well educated and pretty smart in most areas.
>Siesta
>Redeemable
gr8 b8 m8
Her and Henrietta were the only 2 characters who weren’t total pieces of shit, or weren’t completely 1 dimensional.
>Henrietta
>not a piece of shit
>Henrietta
>worth anything
Worst princess ever, tries to steal Saito away from Louise by using lavish gifts, Henrietta a spoiled piece of shit who doesn't care about her best friend.
Siesta might not have started one dimensional, but she definitely became one dimensional very quickly when her only motivation became banging Saito to the detriment of everything if necessary.
You’re right. Henrietta is a piece of shit. Tabitha and siesta are the 2 good ones
She definitely was 1 dimensional, but I feel like she and Tabitha were about the only 2 really honest characters. She was there to be a friend to Saito (who is also a piece of shit) since the beginning when nobody else would.
Tabitha is just a generic sob story kuudere though and Siesta is a dirty peasant
Its part of why I read Gate, though it doesn't have enough of it. One way travel isn't as interesting as having both. Author death is annoying, at least if a series ends they may run out of money and return to it eventually.
Tabitha is better than all but Louise, those others didn't need to be around, and I prefer harem ends - just not with those two.
>GATE
you mean the manga? I might read the novels but I've never heard of them being translated
She had a better story than anyone else
kidnapping, slavery, and physical abuse. She deserves prison.
Are we talking about Louise here?
It's ok since she's cute. I wish she would do all that to me.
>ywn have a qt3.14 flat chested girl viciously beat you for every slight disobediance
why even live?
>kidnapping
She didn't intentionally take Saito from his world. And she never tried to stop him from returning. In fact, he actively helped him whenever he showed interest in returning home.
>slavery
She actually treated him a lot better than most familiars are treat. From sleeping in her bed to letting him do as he pleases more often than not.
>physical abuse
He has meta-human level durability. She never actually hit him hard enough to do lasting or even significant damage.
She treated him like he was property. She constantly acted like he was a thing, not a person who was forcibly ripped from his own world.
