Why is Anime math so stupid?

Why is Anime math so stupid?

Why is real math so stupid?
>muh prime numbers
Go suck an egg.

It's like that just to trigger autistic fucks like you, OP.

>new dimension
>it's just the x axis

Unironically dropped.

But there are no prime numbers over the reals because it's a field.

You can't argue with proof.

that's basically how quaternions and octernions function.

Math is for stupid nerds.

Okay wise guys, why don't you try to accurately draw the 4th dimension then.

They already drew the 3th dimension on a 2D surface. It's easy to draw a 4th.

...

You cant really show 4D accurately on a 2D surface like a monitor. You cant even accurate portray 3D on a 2D surface.

But its still no reason to do this horrible 4 dimension is just negative X dimension. Just a random idea, have multiple layers of these 3D and have a body move through them over time. Theres a reason sometimes people consider time as the fourth dimension.

How many years will it take for them to discover the negative y and negative z axes? They're almost there with the dotted lines.

>people are still mad about this
Realismfags are pure cancer

>Theres a reason sometimes people consider time as the fourth dimension
Physicists are not people.

Literally just draw a line at an angle with the other 3 in this case.

Good luck drawing it perpendicular to all 3. You can't? Then it's just a linear combination of the other 3.

Like this.

Easy, just use a 3D coordinate system, and draw a path, that varies in colour. The colour can represent the time axis...You could define what colour the the number line goes over...

You could represent 4 dimensions easy in 3D space, but only if you describe the object as a single coordinate point, which is fine.
You COULD describe a whole object by a collection of points, drawn as a path, with varing colours.

But why? why do that, when you understand the math well enough to just work with numbers. Graphics are only for normies, and all dimensions, can be broken down into several 2D planes if we wanted to show data.

Its useless and that anime is low iq bullshit, whatever it is.

Wouldn't that be just a vector in 3d space?

The 3rd axis z is already not perpendicular with x and y because the paper is 2D

>spacing
>...
>normies

>normies

great job einstein, you drew a line in 3d space, 4D solved.

Yes, and projecting another line to the plane will do nothing but make it more of a mess.

XYZ aren't perpendicular to each other in that drawing either, its a 2d representation. is correct.

It's not a mess but an abstract representation, both equally valid

Then the Z axis is just a vector in 2d space.

4D is a mess.

We're in 3D so we can't comprehend true 4D.

One your brain won't be able to grasp, I could project 10 dimensions onto the plane, doesn't mean it's any helpful. If you think it's a good idea to show off in an anime you're definitely on the spectrum.

No, see

Do you lack basic reading comprehension as well? That post isn't particularly relevant to anything I said.

Quoting you
>If you think it's a good idea to show off in an anime you're definitely on the spectrum
No, you can show instead.
>But its still no reason to do this horrible 4 dimension is just negative X dimension. Just a random idea, have multiple layers of these 3D and have a body move through them over time.

It makes sense to me

The W axis is fine imo, but the other axis violate the right hand rule.

Three dimensional coordinate systems aren't relevant until multivariable calculus. Most Otaku never learn any maths beyond what's covered in high school and the majority of people making anime are Otaku. I see what Anno meant when he suggested that Otaku should try to develop interests aside from anime related media. STEM and the arts are two sides of the same coin, the coin being Asperger's.

>STEM and the arts are two sides of the same coin, the coin being Asperger's.
So who doesn't have Asperger's? Blue collar workers?

I was memeing

You mean joking.
