Wrong. The normal protocol is that the rabbi is supposed to refuse you 3 times. On the 4th time to accept to convert you. The idea is that unlike cuckstianity and islame, which want to gobble up anyone to bolster large numbers through any trick or lie, only the ones who really believe in wanting to convert should be allowed.
