I've DL'd it, it's about ~800mb. Each .mp3 cover several chapters. It's actually interesting. It sounds like a collection of various sections that he wrote about why things are shitty, how they got that way, and what to do / expect realistically. Not so much an "ideology" so much as a "practical observation" of the situation as it was back THEN. The value of this work, sadly, isthat it's STILL applicable.
I can understand why they constantly tell people to read it. I think once you start to dig into it, you'll see it's value, given the current , still unchanged, political environment.
Keep in mind, that I myself have not finished it, and I fell asleep listening to it. I believe each audio section is about 1 hour long.

from what i understand, the general idea, is that if you read it, and you get what's being said, then YOU are the intended audience. nothing much else to say really, you either "get it" or you don't.
