It doesn't matter whether or not the deed itself you consider to be okay, or not that bad, it just matters what people who have no clue about any of this think, and how easy it is to trigger the "shame on that man" response from the general public with some choice wording of these articles.
If it never moves past RWW or blows up anymore, it'll eventually wash over -- as long as he doesn't try to take up a crusade of addressing it and bringing more attention to it (he is NOT strategic, so this is more than likely what he'll stumble himself right into).
If it gets picked up by a larger outlet and some hashtag starts going towards trending over it, add in all the fanbases of of people Andy and the alt-right YouTube scene in general have pissed off, some activist groups make a few calls to YouTube, they'll swipe that channel from existence without thinking twice about it.
Like anyone else, I like this guy, it's hard not to - but he's possibly the worst person ideally to be handling the outfit that has been so productive in growing the alt-right or spreading its ideas to new frontiers. Combine with JF getting hit with The Daily Beast article and it's very disappointing, but somewhat unsurprising, seemed like this all could be coming with these 2.
