Many ways out of fat, I lowered my bf% drastically by simply getting out and hiking (though I haven't been obese since like 12). best results I've seen have been BCA stacking/keto/ckd (for muscle).

I basically stay in keto, the energy levels are insane. I make exceptions for special occasions but I haven't had any cravings or reason for carbs.
One tip I have for beginners is kale powder, you can add that to a no-carb shake or other things. Caffeine has a weird relationship with ketones, stimulants cause fats to be released into blood... where the ketones are.

I'm extremely active, but I'm shooting bear mode. Every morning I hit the gym for lifts/cardio for an hour before work (work construction, concrete) and then for an hour on my way home if I'm not too tired. 241 lbs, 5'9'' (manlet, so what), and my goal by the start of next winter is to hit 260+

Keto energy works differently based on exercise, muscle glycogen is reduced for obvious reasons. For lifting, I would carb on the weekends (CKD). If that is out, then just make sure your fats are up as that is your energy source. If you want to try something awesome for lifting, throw in some berries after your session as that will give you an insulin spike, very anabolic.
fight clubs are not illegal, neither is backyard wrestling. Gambling with fighting is different, but "MMA clubs" and meet-ups are fine.

bodyweight training is highly commendable. a lot of guys can show off some good weight numbers then fail at the muscleups. muscles that you would need when shtf are sometimes different than mirror-shot muscles at the gym.
It takes 1-3 months for your body to adapt to keto. afterwards tho, you'll have the best endurance of your life. there is a lot of science behind this but i dont wanna dig it up. basically, your body will greatly increase the amount of fat used for all activities, even intense exercise; additionally you will still be able to utilize carbs, and once you've been ketoadapted for 6-12 months your glycogen stores will be back to normal due to your mad insulin sensitivity AND your glycogen stores will be much bigger AND your intramuscular triglycerides will be like twice as big.
