Precious young people, I wish I could gather you all up in my arms and reassure you! I am old now, but it seems like only yesterday I was wearing tie-dyed hip huggers and tight T-shirts while listening to the Eagles and Iron Butterfly! The years and decades fly by for all of us. As a teenager, I was so excited to graduate and leave home to begin my adult life. You have many joys ahead of you. There is one joy that is above all others, and there are many in life (as well as sorrows). It is not my career (I loved being a teacher), my homes, my cars, my salary, my education, or anything else. I would like to share with you precious people what it took me years to see. You have an entire future of "love filling your heart" episodes. Movies are good, but your own story is priceless! Love God, love your children, celebrate your accomplishments and be kind to yourself when you fail. Do not fear going into your next chapter. Embrace it with bravery, stick to your guns and never stop seeking the truth of everything! God bless you all.
