It's a shame the general public are generally 60%+ entitled retards when it comes to debt, deficits and entitlement spending. 3 of the $4 trillion budget spent every year in the States is on Social Security, Medicaid/Medicare and the assocciated interest. Here in Britain entitlement/public sector spending is totally out of control and any proposed cut to anything is seen as heartless tyranny. I'm 27 and doubt i'll even get a state pension even if I wanted it.l because the ppnzi scheme will collapse under it's own weight within 2 decades.
Entitlement reform is absolutely necessary to avoid long term financial collapse. Shame it's so politically toxic for any party that does it - even more so in an election year.
I'd like to see the Republicans tackle it eventually. Maybe in Trump's second term or sooner if the Senate develops some balls, goes nuclear drops to 51.
