No, this is the real beginning. Spencer, Heimbach, and the rest were not true thought leaders. They were just faces that tried to assert themselves into a movement. Spencer didn't develop his own theories, he just interviewed lots of people doing podcasts and then tried to assert himself as leader.

All of these people lacked a cohesive vision. None of them explicitly advocated for an alternative to the "enlightenment values" of the 1600s/1700s that have set us down this mess.
